Hi there! SO I actually ordered this bag in the black, and am returning it. It's very luxurious, for certain, but VERY structured & stiff around the base and sides. Also, the shoulder strap is wide, but the drop (even extended) is pretty short, so the bag slips off the shoulder too easily. I have the cassette in multiple colors, and I was thinking the Marie would be the same soft/ supple leather "structure", but it just wasn't. I think it would be a fantastic work bag....

I like this shape and strap...here is my Ferragamo from the early 90s. Though the non adjustable strap drop is a bit longer, it narrows in the middle so easier to stay on the shoulder. I could never give it up and I've always liked the main zippered compartment and open pocket in front secured by the strap - even before cell phones existed!
