Looking for quality check. Just picked this up in Milan and the handle...the weave looks loose and like it will fray quite quickly - particularly those in the 3rd photo. What do you guys think?

A few questions about trying to grasp the sizing. The teen is smaller than the small and then there’s the medium and then the maxi? Is medium huge for those that have tried it on? Considering the small Jodie in black. I don’t want anything smaller than the small. I think the teen is similar in size to my banana hobo. But also wondering if it’s just too similar to my banana hobo in fondant to add the small in black. Those that own the small size are you still loving it?

My first Bottega in mini Jodie, in love with the soft smooshy leather, the incredible quality and construction. It’s such a fun bag for this summer, I hope to get lots of use from it.

Sorry this took so long!! Got busy with life things. As promised, here are a bunch of mod shots of both my small (black) and teen (caramel) size Jodies. I tried to show the overall size against my body (I'm 5'6", slim build) as well as show the bags on my shoulder while gaping open, as this is a common use case for me and also contributes to the teen being less comfortable for me to use. As you can hopefully see in the pics, the handle drop on the teen is quite small (especially when the bag is fully open), so it's not as easy to throw over my shoulder as I previously stated. The small is definitely larger to the eye but I find it more comfortable and easy to use. I've also had the small longer and it's softened up a lot, so that could also be a contributing factor. Hope this helps!!

Congrats! I'm not sure what size your banana hobo is exactly, but from the look of it I would guess it's going to be smaller than your Jodie. Jodie in small is a very generous size. I hope you love yours, it's an absolute classic that keeps going up in price and I've found mine very useful!

My small Jodie arrived! Very practical size! Definitely a keeper. I do note the zipper sticks up oddly lol. Does that settle or just always stick out?

Hi! I have a Jodie Teen in the color Thunder in suede. I use it a lot and it looks brand new, or maybe even better than new because it’s less stiff than when it was new. Highly recommend this bag in any size in suede. It’s positively luscious!

I tried it on in-store and it was gorgeous, but I didn't get it (yet..? )

That’s the problem with the new larger weave. Gapping and longer edges to curl and stretch.

Well, at least it has a lifetime warranty? But to be honest, this particular bag looks worse than the others I've seen on here...kinda wish I'd looked at it more closely at the store but oh well, at least it's finally mine.

Personally I think this looks pretty normal. With time your hand will flatten the handle and it will mold nicely. It won’t look quite as loose.

First picture is when I just got the bag. Second picture is after 8 months of wear. Bottega bags wear so beautifully in my opinion.




Congrats on your travertine mini jodie! It’s an amazing color and size!
