I have the teen suede Jodie in the color Thunder, and it just may be my favorite bag (and I have a huge collection of BV, Hermes, Chanel, and Dior, with a few Fendi and Ysl mixed in). I’ve worn it a ton and it still looks amazing. I think it actually gets better with age as it relaxes and is just beautiful!

I purchased my mini jodie from the Bottega store and my SA told me about this “new” lifetime warranty too. She sent me a certificate (I cropped out my info below it). She said it only applies if you purchase in a boutique (in my case I purchased there in the boutique but had the bag shipped to me so I could have the 14 day return window in case I changed my mind). She said if there was ever an issue with the bag they could repair it or just give you a new bag if it’s defected.

Huh. I purchased from a boutique and brought the bag home with me but was never emailed this Certificate of Craft. They did enter my email and phone number at the store but that's about it.

Hi everyone!
Do you happen to notice leather scratch around the zipper? I wore mine 2times literally, and I noticed the leather around zipper being scratched all along. I didn’t do anything extraordinary with the bag, so I thought maybe it’s a design issue. Did anyone experience this ?

This happened to mine in Grape. BV repaired it for me free of charge. Must be a known defect.

Thx so much. I don't like the Medium even though my wife is tall. It's not a tote so IDK why BV is making such large sizes?

Not sure if this has been discussed but reminder to check your small Jodie bags and the larger sizes for deodorant marks. Popped my small in black away after using it on weekend trip a few weeks ago and pulled it out tonight only to find deodorant all over the inner knot part. Thank goodness I have an alcohol free baby wipes and it came off. Phew!!

Black is a must, which my wife owns.

Some other fun versions (wish they made it in Small like they do for Black).

I'm headed to Italy in a week and am planning to make a Jodie purchase I'm stuck between the Fondant and the Caramel - any opinions between the two? I wear a lot of neutral colors, heavy on the black and white. I feel like the Caramel is the way to go. Does anyone own either of these colors?

For reference, I'm looking to purchase the Small size (the size up from Teen).

Any input welcome!

Out of those I like the Caramel more. The Fondant looks like a light Black. If you don't have a Black already then I'd suggest get that.

Where in Italy are you going? Milan? The Milan F/W happens on September 19.

I have a Caramel Teen Jodie, and like it with black and white because it provides some contrast against light and dark colors. Fondant will look great with light and mid tone neutrals. However, as a dark color, I'm not sure Fondant work as well with black.
