Hi everyone!

I'm headed to Italy in a week and am planning to make a Jodie purchase  I'm stuck between the Fondant and the Caramel - any opinions between the two? I wear a lot of neutral colors, heavy on the black and white. I feel like the Caramel is the way to go. Does anyone own either of these colors?

For reference, I'm looking to purchase the Small size (the size up from Teen).

Any input welcome!
Enjoy Italy!
I personally prefer fondant, it is a beautiful rich color that looks nice with light naturals but also stands out as something quit different with an all black outfit.

Fondant is a great color.

Question: which would you pick? Hop or Jodie? I haven't seen the Hop IRL yet, will do that in early October. Options would be Small Hop v Small or Teen Jodie. Would love to hear feedback from people who've seen both either in the store or in the wild. For colors, thinking black, fondant, inkwell, or potion, depending on size/color options and availability. Thanks!

Jodie is way more famous than the Hop. My wife has the Black Small Jodie. I do like Inkwell too.

It's Gigolo Red, but I don't see it as an option for Jodie
I think this color is inspired by the Gigolo Red Lauren 1980 (which was inspired by the clutch Lauren Hutton carried in the movie American Gigolo). However, this red looks a little brighter and bolder than the actual Gigolo Red.

The bag Rihanna is carrying only just appeared on the runway recently. It will probably be a few months before it appears on the Bottega Veneta website.

ETA - even though this color is shown on the new Lauren style, there is a chance it will be available in other styles, like the Jodie.

Is this the same colour?

It's hard to say for certain. I think it's probably the Dark Red Mini Jodie from Fall / Winter 2021. It's a gorgeous color, and I considered it in the Mini Jodie and Cassette, but ultimately decided I liked the Cassette's finish better - it's a high sheen brushed calfskin.

Here's the Dark Red Mini Jodie photo from the BV website at the time.

Hi guys, I just received my Bottega Veneta Jodie Small in fondant, had been eyeing it for a long time and tried it on in the store several times. Upon receiving it I feel like the zipper doesn't open as smooth as the bag I tried in the BV store.
Do you have any experience regarding this, does it get better in time when wearing it or is it simply a defect?
