I have a small Jodie in Travertine, bought nearly 1 year ago. I love everything about it…comfort of carry, style, construction and color. Highly recommend.

I ended up leaving Paris with the small Jodie in fondant! I had to visit a few stores before I found one.As both a BV and Celine fan, i think the Triomphe might be slightly more functional for traveling and for ease of day-to-night use. The small Jodie is pretty much the most comfortable bag I’ve ever owned, and I think Fondant is a versatile color. It can certainly be used year-round. However, I personally would not limit myself to shoulder or hand carry only while traveling. I like the security of a crossbody option.
But wait - are you talking about a bag you will buy in Paris? Not necessarily the bag you will exclusively use in Paris? If so, and you don’t have a small Jodie, then YES! Go for the Jodie. Especially if you already have some type of medium crossbody bag. Jodie is so wonderful and comfortable to wear.

However once I got home, I realized how close it was in color to my Veneta hobo, although not identical it’s pretty close. I’m second guessing my color choice a bit but I’m hoping I can get use out of both.
Wow - both are gorgeous! Is your Veneta the Ebano color? It looks similar to my Ebano Belly in the photo with direct sunlight. Your Veneta and Jodie are similar browns, but to me the Jodie reads a bit cooler in tone. I love them both, and think dark brown is like Nero (or black) - you can't go wrong with it, and it's always good to have more than one bag in that color.
I think it's the ebano, I purchased it off VC and the seller didn't list the color name so I'm not 100% sure! In certain lighting the veneta does pull a bit more of a purplish undertone compared to the jodie. You are right though, I need to think about this colorway as a comparable alternative to black, and you can never have enough black bags!
I just have to have a light mini Jodie for summer ☀️ Can anyone help me, what’s the differens between Chalk and White? Anyone has pics on these colours? I think that Chalk looks kind of white on pictures, but I’m afraid that it is greyish..? Preferely I do not want a white white bag, more like almost white, but it still has to look good with white clothes.

I’ve seen both in the boutique a while back. The chalk is more versatile imo but is definitely not a white bag. It is more of a very light taupey-beige bag that would go with most outfits and the white is more of a stark white, still stunning though.
Hi, hoping for some help choosing a colour for small Jodie. I can’t decide between the black (very practical, great for everyday- but does it show the beautiful intrecciato properly?) or travertine (beautiful colour, but will it show wear and tear too easily)? I’m hoping to wear it often in daily life as it’s a great size and comfortable.
Can't go wrong with black. If you wanna be bold get the Blaster.
I have the small Jodie in Travertine and it wears very well. I will definitely end up with this bag in more colors. It’s fantastic!
I made the initial decision to buy the bag when I saw someone wearing it in a shop. Hers was black, and you definitely do not lose the beautiful detail in that color. It was stunning. I was headed for black and then Travertine was released and I fell for that color.
Space is also gorgeous. Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any color option.
