I think the big style you're looking for is called the Veneta and is a vintage style... Don't believe it is sold anymore (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!) I would Google "Bottega Veneta vintage Veneta bag teal" and see what you get. The color of the mini Jodie is Blaster I believe?, in patent leather -- I highly doubt you'll find a patent version of the vintage, but you might be able to find a similar blue shade. I will say I have seen the teen size in Blaster before, but in the normal nappa leather, not in patent. I think it's currently being offered in suede.

I may be wrong, but I believe Blaster came out in early 2021, before the Teen Jodie was introduced. In the Jodie, I believe Blaster was only available in the mini size, both patent and matte. I believe the Teen Jodie you are referencing is Blue Print, a similar blue color to Blaster. I think Blue Print was introduced in Summer 2022.

Either way, I think the patent finish was only available in the mini Jodies, if that helps.

That's not a current BV style. That's a Veneta (not a Jodie). The closest Jodie size equivalent would probably be the "small" size. You can look at the BV website to see what colors a small Jodie comes in.

No. The Veneta ceased to be produced around 2019 or so. You could check the secondary market for a Belly Veneta in Lagoon Vernice/Nappa Degradé but I think it may have only been sold in Asia - if it existed. I’m pretty sure it did but I can’t confirm that 100%. The Belly Veneta is the closest shape to the Jodie. The BV Reference Library here is a wealth of information when looking for styles/colours

Hi All, I just purchased the Mini Jodie in Almond. I am torn on whether I should exchange with a darker colored one as I am quite concerned about color transfer and the bag looking dirty or too worn since it is light. Does anyone have experience with their light colored BV bag? How is it holding up? Does wear and tear really show? Thank you in advance!

You really do need to see the sizes IRL. The Teen may not work as a shoulder carry unless one is really petite. The Small is a good medium size bag that works on the shoulder. And to make it more confusing the Medium is rather large and the Large or Maxi is feed-bag sized.

Thank you. It will be between the Small and the Large. The Maxi looks comedic IMO.

I think that color is called Scuba, and it's probably the current season. I want to say Blaster came out in 2021 or early 2022. It seems Bottega has done some version of teal each season for the last few years.

ETA - that color in suede is absolutely gorgeous!

The Suede Teal is a Small Jodie, and the Blaster is a Mini Jodie.
