I have both and like both. One drawback to the Trim is that it is harder to find things in it, especialy when driving a car. I put the Bolide on the passenger's seat and it sits up right and is easy to feel around in and find things. BTW, one of the best things about a Birkin to me is it's ease of use in the car. If I lived where I used public transportation or walked a lot, the Trim or a Bolide would be my choice over the Birkin.

I love both. Here is a pic of my Barenia Trim II and my 31 Bolide in vert anis chevre mysore. They are two completely different bags, I couldn't actually compare the two against each other........but if you feel a shoulder bag would be easier, go for a Trim, I reckon.

i have both.i find the bolide a bit more elegant, even if i wear a jeans...
i just bought the trim for myself for xmas but it is absolutely practical especially if you are travelling,and go for meetings etc...
if i had to choose i would take trim!and keep a kelly or bolide for handbag days...
