Bolide Dilemma

One thing I've learnt in the tpf hermes forum is to never settle, especially at the prices we are paying. Do give it a chance, but if it isn't meant to be, don't force yourself. Good luck!

I think etoupe is not a good colour for a Bolide because there's no hardware really to jazz it up like on a Kelly or Birkin.
Plus if you don't really like the Bolide to start with, there's no point in getting one. Use your store credit for something else.

Do not buy a bag in hopes that you will eventually have a love connection. Only buy those that "sing" to you. With all the reservations that you've just stated, I would pass on the Etoupe bolide and keep the store credit for now. Good luck!
ITA with everyone's advice. Only get a bag if you feel it sings to you. Maybe you will find another style that speaks to your heart?

Like hermes_lemming said, don't buy a bag in hopes of eventually having a connection and falling in love with it. You should love it from the start 
jehaga--If you're not feeling the Bolide you should definitely purchase something that you do love instead. If you're on the fence I wouldn't purchase it.
