Yea it can definitely be replated later. For some people that plating wears off very quickly, usually bec of your body chemistry or wear patterns, for others it may never.

Absolutely! I envy those who can wear WG at all. I cannot wear gold or wg, or I get quite a reaction, so Plat or Stainless or sometimes silver are my options.

I would think about having it shortened a bit unless you plan to layer. A length that falls at the lower end of the little indent of the neck. Probably a 16".
I had a 2" extender made (2 holes at 1-2" increments) so I can have a 16-17 or 18" length.
Hope this makes sense.
