it is limited to your credit line amount.
30% of purchased price charges on the bloom's card, then you are entirety get that current promo.

for instance: $3000 line of credit, which you could use to buy $9000 using other method to pay the difference, and get 20% discount.

Yes they say you need to charge at least 30% on your bloomies card but some experienced SA says they can do less than 30%.

Yeah! I saved $860 pretax and there is no limit on the discount...you just get 20% off the day you sign up and the day after. They do 20% twice a year and 15% often (about twice a month I think?), and it's usually 10% when they aren't running the specials.

$860 off on Chanel bags - that's absolutely a great deal.
I definitely should take advantage of it when buying a big purchase.
Thanks.

It really is...it was my first Chanel purchase so I really wanted to make sure I got the best deal out there. I heard the prices were going up AGAIN in November/December and knew that I wanted to get one now because if I didn't the bag I wanted may be around $5000 (gasp!).

do not risk your 20% discount by using that "quoted" from experienced SAs .

I had checked my blooms account online and talked to credit services and it all worked out. I opened my account online so the max credit is $500 and so you cannot charge 30% of your purchase on the card. What happens is: say your credit is $500 but your purchase is $4000. What happens is they charge u for the full amount at first and the discount appears on your statement. So with the $4000 bag (assuming no sales tax), $500 gets charged on your bloomies card and the rest ($3500) on a separate visa/mc/aa/discover. Now since your discount is $800 and more than your credit line, you have a $300 credit (or negative bloomies card balance). You can now call credit services and they will send you a check for this credit once they confirm your address bc after all, this is your own money owed to you for the discount. So, you don't even pay the $500 that was put on your blooms card. I did exactly this and Am now awaiting my check in the mail. Also, you can use this $300 credit toward other purchases but I don't plan on buying anything else from and wanted the cash back.
