ohhhh noooo! so i saw they were having 15% OFF SALE THIS WEEKEND if you open a CC...so i got my bro to open an account. had a Jumbo on hold...and now due to huricvane irene both NY and Boston Bloomingdales is closed!!!! ahhhhhhh I called CC services and they said they would extend the 15% until they open...but i'm nervous...let's hope it works out...:(

I opened a bloomingdales account this past weekend to take advantage of the 15% weekend and was wonderning is it 15% off retail? Reason why I ask is they said that max discount is $100 is that right? I thought it was 15% off $4300? Can someone shed some light for me?

Confirm it's true. Doesn't have to have total amount on Bloomingdale's card to get full 20% (or 10% or 15%) from the total amount. So it doesn't really matter if you only have $500 credit limit on your Bloomingdale's card. Only experience SA that works with big ticket amount will know this. Regular SA doesn't know this. And I believe someone said it has to be 30% of the handbag price to be on the Bloomies card to get full discount. My SA was able to put less than 30% and get full discount.

if anyone is interested, SCP Bloomingdales got in a shipment today and they got some of the Timeless Classic Clutch Bag in black caviar that retails for $2100. I was able to grab one for myself so if anyone has been lusting over it and has been trying to find it, I'd give them a call! =)

For anyone that is interested, NYC Bloomingdale's has a black lambskin jumbo with GHW and Chestnut Hill Bloomingdale's has black caviar jumbo with SHW. I was looking for black caviar with GHW but figured there may be someone on here that might like one of the two that are available, especially with the 20% off. Hope this helps! =)

Oh no....I wanted the lambskin! I called NYC 3 days ago to ask for it and they didn't have it. Ended up buying caviar with GHW from Chestnut Hill. Thank you for the info. I am too late to order the lambskin now since I open my account on Thursday.
