I just opened a bloomies account but they only gave me $500. If i buy a bag and have to use another card to pay for the difference, will I get 15% off of the entire bag (jumbo $3500) or just 15% off of $500?

30% of the bag price has to be charged to the bloomies card to get the discount. you will need to ask the sa to help you increase the limit. gl

Also, I've heard that in some cases in nyc, you don't have to pay tax if you get your bag shipped. I think this was the case with saks and BG but I'm not entirely sure. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I think next one will be March, if you open a new account then. They have 20off semi-annually so september and march. That's what I'm waiting for too, hopefully prices don't go up before then. HTH!

You need to provide social security card number to open an account. I think so but heard Canadian can also open a charge card with some department store.
