10% is all the time, but 15% I heard from my SA happens twice a month. You can call 866-593-3927 and ask what the promotional rate is every day.

Just talked to a SA at Boston (James, actually) and another SA at their NYC location. Apparently I can get 15% discount now, but Chanel at Boston Bloomie's is completely out of what I want and is not expecting another shipment until February? So I gave up and put my name on the waiting list with a SA at NYC Bloomie's. I'll pay a little more in tax, but I don't wanna be waiting for months, especially with a price increase coming up soon! I hope they get a new shipment very, very soon. I can't WAIT to get my hands on my first Chanel!

A good strategy there. Better pay a bit more tax difference rather than getting the Chanel after the price increase. Good luck, yeay :yahoo:

I haven't applied for a Bloomingdale's visa yet cuz I don't know when I will have to use the 15% off first purchase. Can I apply the card first then use it whenever I see what I want? Or I will need to apply for the card in store and use it RIGHT AWAY? Some pointers would be great.

I want a Jumbo Caviar in SHW and a M/L Lambskin in GHW. We are in Boston but I was hoping if anyone of you can pm me your SA info so I can get those bags without taxes.

You have to purchase it in the first two days of opening a credit card account. Talk to Erin from Bloomies SCP, simply awesome ;) Good luck!

if there is something that you want now, you can give the bloomies sales rep your personal credit card info, they will put a PENDING charge on your card for the amount of your chanel purchase. they will hold the bag in their store for you and wait til the "15%- off-event" day (next 15%-off-event is next week, starting on the oct.20). Then on that day, you sign up for a bloomies card, the sales rep will cancel the pending charge on your personal credit card, then make the official new charge on your bloomies card with 15% off and ship you the bag. this way, you won't have to worry about the bag being sold to someone else during the time that you wait for the 15% off event. =)
