It still reflects poorly on them. I didn't think one way or another of them before. I don't know one song of jay's and bey's, the only one's I know, are the pop sensations (To the Left and Single Ladies...which I both enjoy). I also enjoyed her in Dream Girls, which I will still do. They are entertainers, no more....but now I do think poorly of them, so if she is in another movie, I probably will chose to spend my dollars else where
Of course, in the end it makes no never mind, but for someone who seems so controlling of their image, it seems they have really displayed their true colors.
This is a very good point. And if they no longer associate with him, I will change my tune....if however, things go right back as they were, then it will cement my opinion.
If that is the way you and your friends roll, then I understand your point of view. But if you skipped my kids' christening or wedding, without a good reason, I wouldn't consider you a close friend

In the Kimye/Jayonce situation, if the reason they didn't want to be there was because they didn't want to be on TV, I'm sure Kimye would understand that...if they're real friends. However, if they just didn't go because they didn't feel like it...IMO that's selfish and not what real friends do. That's an acquaintance.
My MIL didn't come to our wedding (in the same city) because she didn't feel like it. She "doesn't like driving at night". Meanwhile, some of our other family and friends traveled across the country to be there. That's f'ed up.

Or maybe they are just tired of his crazy ways. We always automatically think that it is Kim's famewhoring, but maybe it is Kanye that is the problem. It must be so draining to deal with him I don't know how Kim does it. And he's right there along with her on the famewhore stroll.
Does anyone know if Kanye went to their wedding?Bey and Jay have the same tight circle of friends for decades. Kelly, cousin Angie, Ty, Ty Ty (that's diff people) and some others. That's who their real friends are. The people they hang with on the weekends, the people they go on vacations with.
Apart from birthdays and one shopping trip, have they ever hung out privately? I can think of one candid of Jay & Kanye and it was staged as all hell.
The people they double-crossed were businesspartners or "associates".
(Letoya/Latavia was a different situation. Bey was a teenager under her dad's control back then.)
There is. But you know 5 years from now the only thing that the public will remember is that Jay and Beyonce didn't go to their wedding.

It's also funny how some think they know how they must be feeling as well. At the end of day I don't think Bey and Jay or Kim and Kanye are as upset as some of people on this board are.
