In what way Kanye was supportive to Jay and Beyonce? If anything, it's Jay who supported Kanye. But enough is enough. What kind of mentally healthy person would want to be associated with someone as lunatic and megalomaniac as Kanye?
Yup. Whether I don't like the people or just don't feel comfortable going, I'm not going to. I'm not going just to make someone happy, either. I don't need an excuse or an explanation. If Kanye's friendship was important to Jay, he would've been there. He could have gone alone, if my husbands friend was getting married and I didn't agree or like them, I have no problem letting him go alone. However, I do have a feeling it had to do with the media coverage and Rachel Roy situation.
He's better get used to the shade. Kim is a pariah so it's part of the baggage he chose to pick up.
It is the total opposite. Kanye's production was an integral part of Jay's music career, he is Beyonce's biggest cheerleader to where he went on stage to say her video was the best of all time. He forego his MBDTF tour because Jay wanted to do WTT. He has tirelessly supported them.
If that is the case for them, they should not associate with him at all then. Beyonce is not naive. She knew what posting that photo would do.

It still reflects poorly on them. I didn't think one way or another of them before. I don't know one song of jay's and bey's, the only one's I know, are the pop sensations (To the Left and Single Ladies...which I both enjoy). I also enjoyed her in Dream Girls, which I will still do. They are entertainers, no more....but now I do think poorly of them, so if she is in another movie, I probably will chose to spend my dollars else where
Of course, in the end it makes no never mind, but for someone who seems so controlling of their image, it seems they have really displayed their true colors.

If that is the way you and your friends roll, then I understand your point of view. But if you skipped my kids' christening or wedding, without a good reason, I wouldn't consider you a close friend

I wouldn't consider that a good or close friend either. A good and close friend will do something that they don't care much to do or don't want to do because it makes their friend happy. It's called being considerate and trying to be selfless.
Absolutely. Image and self over every single other thing. At least Kim has had many of the same friends for years which shows us quite a lot.. As compared to Jay-Z and Beyoncé who have a proven history of double-crossing people that work so hard to help them.
He was but when Kanye was breaking out, Jay started using his production and it produced his most classic albums. If i recall correctly (if this is not someone let me know), he wanted to keep using Kanye for production on his tracks and did not support/care about Kanye's aspirations to rap (Jay's MO). Damon Dash was the one who fought for Kanye not Jay and Kanye I believe has said in hindsight that if he had to do it all over again he would have stayed with Dame but at the time he was a young kid and Damon's approach was abrasive vs Jay who was a smooth talker.
If you listen to Big Brother, Kanye touches on the negatives of his relationship with Jay and how he feels sometimes that he gives and Jay just takes.

Yeah, I would support my friend for their wedding as well but we don't know if it is a real friendship or a work relationship.
The fact that Rachel Roy was there could be why Jay did not show up.
His loyalty is to his wife.
Kanye produced 4 songs for The Blueprint and 2 for The Black Album. Good stuff, but he hardly took Jay to another level in his career.
He crashed the VMAs 5 years ago after having "a lil sippy sippy".
He wanted to do WTT just as much as Jay. He's a Jay-Z groupie. The Throne was the "power couple" Ye always wanted to be (before Yeezy & Easy became a thing).
I can attend someone's birthday and work closely with them and still not attend their wedding, especially if that meant having to deal with the paparazzi and all that other boo-hah that comes with Kim & Ye. There's levels to friendship.
Everyone was speculating if Bey and Jay would attend and Bey killed the speculation with a selfie. Bloop. Big deal. I don't get how so many people's feeling could get hurt over this?
Now about that congratulatory message...
ETA: Kanye just recently signed with Roc Nation. Not just as an individual artist, but also in cooperation with Donda. Why would he do that if he resented Jay in some way. It's business as usual.
