I like Jay-Z's music but I think he sounds terrible live and just kind of walks quickly around stage--there is no show. Last time I saw him was for NYE 2013, at a huge concert with Coldplay. He kind of yells into the microphone and doesn't even say many of the words--maybe he's out of breath. Will never pay to see Jay-Z live again.

Coldplay was fantastic though and put on a good show.

Most rappers just walk around and rap, I've never ever seen JayZ actually dance or even do a 2-step for that matter.. But I could see how that could be boring, he's not the most energetic rapper or performer, but he sure can get a crowd hype. My fear is that they will only do songs that they have recorded together and I only like a couple of their duet songs, I prefer them doing their own solo songs though

I saw him with Mary J. and he was awesome. Like a rock star. The most thuggish dudes were squealing like girls when he hit the stage. The one thing I really appreciated is that he brought out the artists he had done collabos with from the past. People you had not seen or heard from in years. I guess it depends on where you see him in order for that to happen.

That would make the whoel show 30 minutes long. They will also do their own sets and maybe Bey will come out to replace Mary J on Hustle and stuff like that, I believe they have done that before.

Agree!!! I went 2 times when he performed at the opening week of Barclay Center. Great shows! One guy was going IN while we waited for the show to start with the house DJ. I video tapped him, because it was COMEDY!!

Last time I saw Jay performing was when him and ***** came to my city the day before the election. Jay did a couple of songs crowd went absolutely insane, all he really did was walk out and fed off the crowds reaction. He ended up introducing ***** very humbly and of course the crowd went wild
I love seeing grown men going crazy at concerts

He puts on a hell of a show.

What do you mean, "no reason".

Beyonce & Jay are NOTORIOUSLY private if they can't control the outcome. The paps, the people, the "insiders"... do you really think they would want to be a part of that? Even before "elevatorgate", they wouldn't put themselves in such a situation.

Like I said: There's levels to friendship. We can be close enough to party together, work together, yet at the same time could not be close enough to share such a moment together.
Or we used to be close, but aren't anymore.

That doesn't make one a bad friend. Just a not-that-close-friend. :weird:

Thiiiiiiisss!!!!

No one needs an excuse for not going to their wedding. They didn't want to go, case closed.
.

thank you!!! and as i tell my DH - i am a grown woman! i don't need an excuse for what i choose not to do! period.

i hate it when on the weekends people go around door-to-door trying to sell something! yea the cars are parked outside. garage door up. blinds always open and front door, too. yea they can clearly see i am home but if i choose not to answer MY doorbell that is MY business because this is MY house. i do as i please. period.

Of course not but it still makes them bad friends.

not to me!
