best quality lower end designer bags in your opinion?

omgsh never heard of Coccinelle! these bags look gorgeous!!! anyone know about their quality?

I first spotted them a decade ago in Singapore. My last purchase of one was at the boutique in Venice,Italy. They're excellent bags.

MZ Wallace, Dooney and Bourke florentine, Roots,

and not mentioned here yet - a personal favourite - M0851. Made in canada and they have stores in the US and Japan. Website does not reflect the wonderfulness of the leathers.

This latest Fossil I bought is extremely thick leather and very well crafted. I just keep looking at it and noticing the attention to detail on this purse.

Belen Echandia is prob my fav (but I agree with the Roots and LP votes, depending on your style). Most of BE's styles brand new are a bit higher priced, but if you don't mind gently used, you can usually score a deal on ebay or bon.

I have Marc by Marc Jacobs, Treesje and more recently Liebeskind (slightly lighter leather but still scrumptious). I also like Kooba but I do not have one yet.

Dooney's Dillen ($250+) vs Tignanello Polished Pocket (~$150) are very similar tote bags although you can tell Dooney has the higher quality leather and interfacing (the support) in the way they retain their shape (if anyone is wondering!)

Ive had this small DKNY clutch/handbag for three years, part leather, part canvas, its still in exellent condition, exept metal on lock has some light scrathes from turning.
Another was this small Fossil, that really surprised me, it got soaked, but dried like never get wet at all, leather was distressed and very light.

I've had MK, Tory Burch, Coach, Botkier and DKNY. I'd say DKNY and Botkier would top off my list! Very durable leather. Botkier's leather is soft and buttery even if it's thick and heavy.
