i suggest using a hand cream and a cuticle cream separately! i use dior abricot for my cuticles but it's too intensive for my hands - which i recommend deborah lippmann's rich girl in the day (it has spf) and i use these korean hand masks before bed time which you can easily DIY with a little googling :)

I live in an extremely dry climate and have tried a TON of hand creams. Most leave my hands greasy and don't do a good job moisturizing. And some are so heavily scented it's annoying.

But I did find one that is AMAZING. Absorbs in, does not leave my hands greasy, provides great moisture to heal very dry hands and is unscented so I don't stink up my office. It's also paraban and phlates (sp?) free. Very inexpensive too. St. Ives Intensive Healing Hand Cream. I stock up on this all year long.

I also love Aquaphor for dry/chapped lips.

My favorite is Sebamed's hand & nail cream, but I feel like it's a bit pricey for what I feel is a small tube. I only get it when they do the road shows at my local costco. My other fave is Earth Therapeutics hand remedy you get way more for your money. I usually buy it at ultra when it's on sale & have a coupon or at Kohls they always have sales and coupons going on too.

Does anyone know of a super rich cream for extremely dry winter hands? I've tried several and those instant creams sink in and my hands still feel dry!

Any suggestions? :graucho:

I recently started putting pur soak it up on the back of my hands, then applying a thick hand cream like true blue spa fragrance free shea butter hand cream from bath and body works. The pur soak it up injects moisture into my hands, and the hand cream seals it. When I do this at night, my hands are so soft in the morning, better than a paraffin dip.

Clinique moisture surge is similar to pur soak it up, IMO.

I get allergic dermatitus, so these two products used together prevent this and seem to be healing my last small breakout.
