First, LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter
On top, Robanda Anti-Aging Hand Treatment with Gatuline Whitening and Retinop (long name!)

When I do my various skin treatments in the AM and PM, everything that goes onto my face also gets rubbed into my hands, so they get collagen stimulator, retin-a (PM only,) antioxidant serum, sunscreen (AM only,) etc.

L'Occitane 's cherry blossom is my fav! but kanda pricy! 25$ for a small tube.
Bath n body work's True blue spa's the pink tube (paraiffe?) also really good and afforable. since they are alwayon sale.
i find Crabtree & Evelyn really watery, not as hydrating as i hoped, since i live in some where really dry.

There is a hand lotion by Natura Bisse and it promises to plump up hands, it is from their Tensolift line, also Amore Pacific. I hope this helps, I am hard on my hands and am thinking about trying them as well.

Ok, I went down to Bergdorf's and got some samples of the NB Tensolift hand cream. Wow....that's all I can say. I recently went back and spent the $100+ to purchase it. I am really impressed. The crepey skin on the back of my hands smoothed out and stayed that way for most of the day, even after washing. Due to the expense, I plan to use it in the morning, then supplement it during the day with a less expensive cream. The SA was also very generous with samples from the different NB lines. The neck cream may also be worth investing.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Before your posting, I never knew this line existed. You may want to try some samples of the hand cream first to make sure it works for you; however, if you do purchase it and don't love it, you can always return it. Please let me know how you like it.

L'Occitane's shea butter hand cream is wonderful, and I love the scent.

Have any of you ladies tried their foot cream? I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to taking care of hands and feet... It's my Saturday late-afternoon ritual to sit on the sofa with feet soaking in bubbles, doing my manicure at the same time. A favorite movie on TV, and an ice-cold glass of prosecco alongside.

That's the reward after the work week, doing early-morning Saturday grocery shopping, getting the laundry done and the apartment cleaned. All followed by a nice hot shower, body scrub, lotion and powder, manicure and pedicure.

And then slipping between fresh-smelling sheets... Bliss.

I really want to try the Tensolift hand cream! I've tried (and reviewed) so many hand creams...my biggest problem are my knuckles - they always look so dark and dry. Here's a pic of my hands to illustrate what I mean (hope it doesn't turn out too big)

Of the creams I've used, the most effective so far is the Fruits & Passions Avocado Hand Butter - it smells amazing, leaves my hands looking and feeling moisturized and lasts thorugh hand washing.

I know the L'Occitane one is pretty popular, but it's not strong enough for me - I have to reapply it frequently.

I've recently purchased Lush's Lemony Flutter - you can use that on your hands as well, so I'm going to try it. Apparently the lemon has a lightening effect (so it might help my dark knuckles)...the only thing is I dislike the lemon-y smell... Burts Bees Lemon Butter smells lovely - Lush's one smells like lemongrass and disinfectant :yucky:

I am so glad I could help, I hope the hand cream keeps working for you, I will try some samples and will let you know. I hope it works for me as well, keep fingers crossed :)

I haven't really tried to many hand creams, because I always hated the feeling of a cream on my skin (but not foundation), but when my hands are really dry I like to use basic Nivea. When my hands aren't that dry I like Dove cream. Lately I'm also trying out the Lush Full of Grace (face serum) and I'm using it for hands too and I think it makes your hands actually softer.

Ella Pretty, actually, the NB Tensolift contains lightening ingredients for age/sun spots so I'm not sure if it will help your rudiness. Have you seen a dermatologist for the red knuckles? It could be just a matter of prescribing the right cortisone cream. You may want to also think about V-beam laser - I'm currently using it on my face for my long-term rosacea. Good luck with your search.

Oops - it might be the lighting in my photos - my knuckles aren't red at all - they are brown (a little bit ashy) - darker then the rest of my skin. I'm of Asian descent and I think it's to do with the pigmentation in my skin (elbows, knees, knuckles can tend to get darker than other parts).

It's nothing that noticeable in person - it's just vanity that makes me want even-toned hands :p From what I've looked up, lightening agents like lemon can help - so I'm sure the Tensolift will be quite helpful.
