Well, I needed a light weight nylon bag for summer season with lots of rain and refused to pay ridiculous price for high end designers. After all it is the same nylon and leather handles. I bought mine on ebags during the sale, then added two more totes in other colors. Have been using grey one non stop since the end of June, so far so good. Planning to wash it if it gets dirty, no babying what so ever.

Will you wash it even though it has leather?

I have the periwinkle on in front. Love Tumi nylon!

They have a folding tote that I like better than Le Pliage.

I will wash it. I washed vintage suede gucci bag with leather lining in a kitchen sink using trader joe's liquid wash detergent, I am not afraid. Need to condition handles after it dryes up, it should dry up very quickly since it is nylon.

I need to add-I did put a cardboard on the bottom of the bag and don't carry much stuff. Just consider that if you need to carry a laptop. TUMI has small tote( mine is small) and slightly bigger version that has add on sleeve to put over a luggage handle, very useful thing for travelling.

I carry heavy loads without a shaper... Just FYI.

I have the large, about 18" wide.

I did see these folding totes. Not sure how much space is available when folded? Hmm....

I saw prada nylon bag at the airport, black messenger like, it didn't look any close to be attractive. Just an average nylon bag.

Speaking of nylon. I have a small shoulder ballistic nylon bag which I bought for 10$ about 13 years ago , its from oriflame cosmetic company. After using as my go out bag I cut off the handle and now use it as my purse organizer. This thing is awesome, it looks brand new! I wash it in the sink once a year. Amazing!

I never said you did. I guess that you think very highly of yourself if you thought that I was responding to you. I was making a general statement about the difference in perception and why someone would choose one brand over another regardless of craftsmanship. What I said had NOTHING to do with what you wrote. As a matter of fact, I had to find your post before commenting. If I want to address someone in particular, I quote them.

I know how to read very well. I also have amazing comprehension. You, on the other hand, seem to have the intelligence and mentality of an elementary aged child. Take you *****iness somewhere else. You are directing it at the wrong person.

Grow. Up. It's a handbag. At the end of the day, it's used to carry stuff. It's not that serious.

Would you please be so kind and tell me who decided that LV is a luxury brand? And how strong is this position? Is it possible to lose the premier status or is it going to last forever?
