hey guys! i know this is a very new item, but how are your boite chapeau souple holding up so far? i think it's super cute but i don't know if it's durable or not. is it holding its shape since you started using it? anybody have any issues with the vachetta? my SA has one on hold for me and will be checking it out, but I'd love to hear feedback and review from owners. thanks!
I don't own but I'd love to see more mod shots. If you're keen please post some :)

It has only been a short time and I rotate my bags daily between the lot of them - this bag for me is more of a Friday/weekend bag - meh may use during the week but usually need more room during workdays. But I will say this is not an every day bag as much as I love it. Do I see it loosing its shape - no. Problems with vachetta - no it is already darkened a bit the color of honey (some say water proof but not willing to test that theory). The interior is not a material that will stretch much so as far as loosing shape due to that is unlikely not to mention the canvas - maybe get a tad relaxed. I will also say it depends on how hard you are on your bags? This is definitely not a throw around bag or a work horse as some call them ( I mean none of these bags are throw around bags right). You definitely can warp the zipper by over loading which you can do to any bag really. I really do not see this little gem aging to bad at all and it is a very well made bag. Only con I would have is I miss a top handle as on the PM or Alma BB's I have - not really a con because carrying the bag as a clutch works well due to the shape. So I guess no con at all. I love the vintage look and different style of this bag a lot.

I guess I would say if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one it is worth a look or purchase.

Oh boy....I got the call this afternoon. My Boîte Chapeau Souple is in. I am actually quite surprised. I put my name on the list several weeks ago (a couple weeks before I became interested in the Turenne PM). I honestly didn't think I would get this bag, as they made a point to tell me it was a limited runway bag and they couldn't promise me one. I think it is very beautiful and unique, but I had kind of moved on, in my mind....until today. I avoid the mall on weekends, so I plan to go and check it out in person on Monday after work. To be continued....:heart:

Get it! As this’d be classic even you wear it after 10years. Still in trend.

Here are some shots courtesy of @BelaS
She figured out how to get the strap ends to not stick out, but doubling them up into the buckles!!

Dear @chloebagfreak , could you please let me know how 'this part' is holding up? Sorry that I took the liberty to use the pic you posted.
I'm wondering if it'll become loose/stretched due to tension/weight of the strap & contents in the bag.
Thank you so much!

Hi, that is actually Bella’s bag photo, but that part seems fine. LV stands up for their products, so i wouldn’t worry:)

LV Boite Chapeau Souple is a wonderful, lightweight & very versatile handbag. It is truly, one of my favorite pieces from LV.
Here is my New addition as of 1.5 weeks ago. Made in Frances, makes it just a little extra special:-)
The leather trim is slightly different from their Raw Vachette leather, on their handbags. I called Louis Vuitton client services to inquire about the slight difference. They told me it is Not treated. She told me to refer to the detail description online. I have seen others get different info. It fits my LV pieces as listed; New Victorine Wallet, Round Coin purse, mini pochette, Key pouch,Cellphone, Car keys and lots of room to spare.( all these items fit together) Hope this info is helpful for those looking to buy this lovely piece
