Has anyone had any further experience with water or rain and the new leather, any staining or other worries in general? Thanks!

So she arrived today. This ones made it n France, but she has more flaws than the first. I’m debating on just dealing with it because the bag is hard to come by and not easily exchanged. It definitely puts a damper on that new bag feel though if it were a Speedy or NF I’d exchange it till it was perfect without hesitation. Sigh
It’s so tough because this is a bag I really want. I’ll take a little bit to think about it I suppose.
Not the best pics, dark skies here today. You can see the poor stitching on the piping in front of the bag on the left. This is the most obvious and cringeworthy bc it’s in the front. 
The next is the rear pocket. It is noticeably wrinkled on the left. This wouldn’t be as a big a deal if the pocket weren’t a peferctly flat leather piece.
Lastly the whole pocket itself is off center.
You can see the fluer on the right is covered by the pocket and the fluer on the left there is a gap where the brown canvas can be seen.

Maybe I’m being nit picky but at this price point is too much to ask for a little better QC?
I think the wrinkling would bother me more than the pocket being not centered. Can you find a replacement? I guess it’s better that the pocket is on the back if you decide to keep it...
This was my second one. The SA ordered it from the wharehouse so I’m thinking at this point the only ones left to be had are Returns for one reason or another. I could live with the pocket since it’s on the back but the piping on the front when you look at it, seems like it’s completley missing on the side of tha bag. That’s how deeply and unevenly sewn it is into the Monogram. I think a passer by wouldn’t even notice it but for me it’s the first thing I see.
Now that you mentioned it I do notice it...I don’t know how hard it is to get a replacement, maybe to check out in person?
I agree the pocket would bother me. But the rest of the bag is fine. Yes try to get another one. Third time is a charm. I can understand these issues can put a damper on your excitement. I hear you and others speak of QC but I don’t think there is any - we are the quality control by not excepting what we feel is not up to our standards. Problem is you send it back and they sell it to someone else who doesn’t mind the wrinkle. It is all personal preference and we have to be happy. So send it back and try to get another one. Again I am sorry about this. Like I said I didn’t like the tag on mine because who ever put the bag together had it on the wrong hole so it caused a wrinkle. I took it and my SA has ordered me a new tag. But easier to replace a tag then a pocket. I get it.
