I prefer to get classic pieces too. I do think bcs has a hint of "trendy" to it because of it's uncommon shape. Do keep in mind though that the design/shape is based off of a hatbox design, which are classy luggage pieces. I think if anything, the long shoulder or crossbody will look dated, but the top handle for this bag will remain vintage-classic. Think of how frame bags have always been popular for evening bags, but they're starting to make a comeback for larger everyday bags right now.

You can still treat/wear the BCS like the Petite Boite just grab it by the handles. The rest of the handles will hang while carrying it that way but it looks chic.

hmmm thinking of getting this bag, but do y'all think it's trendy ? I tend to collect classic pieces so I don't want to get something that looks dated a few years later

I think it’s only trendy in the sense that it is such a must have style at the moment, however I think the design itself is extremely classic. I also like it because it’s not a full circle but squares off at the base. You can never go wrong with a monogram bag that is practical and can be worn crossbody.

That’s so funny! My husband teases me about that bag, and calls it my canteen when I carry it. He asks me if I’m rejoining the Girl Scouts. Lol! It is a pretty bag, and a very cool, classic LV shape. Good luck, and post pictures if you get it!

Since I have the BCS I think this new petite one is missing something. Maybe I’m just used to the BCS and seems more “complete” luggage look. Still good bag and I’ll consider that if I haven’t had the BCS already.
