This bag is amazing. It was never on my radar but my SA told me to try it. It’s a little bulky but in the cutest way. And the soft canvas melds a bit to my body. It just hit this chord, ya know? Like when you just know it’s right. Also, I have to say I love that it’s not perfect. It’s clearly hand sewn and it’s not perfectly round or symmetrical on the top and sides but it has this lovely feminine but not fussy vibe to it. I also love the somewhat patina’d vachetta. It feels very vintagey and reminds me of the styles from the 70s and 80s. Plenty of space in there too.

Question for the ladies that own this bag. Does the scratching by the zipper on your hand when you reach into the bag bother you? TIA.

It doesn’t really scratch my hand, but I do wish the opening was wider as I’m worried it’ll scratch things as I put them away i.e. my phone, SLGs. I just make sure I’m careful so the zipper doesn’t rub against things too much, but it’s not sharp enough to deter me from using the bag.

So I confess that I returned this bag because I was stressed about the vachetta. Then I figured out how to take care of it and I went back to repurchased it. I am waiting on a new one from the warehouse. It is such a special piece, has such a vintage vibe yet is modern and chic. Are you ladies enjoying your bags?

Ooh what tips do you have for taking of the vachetta?

I really love the unique straps and the shape, even my boyfriend thinks it looks nice. I can’t wait for warmer weather, I think it’ll look great with maxi dresses.

I used the patina champ method on my mono speedy and it is completely water mark proof. I have taken it out in the rain and gotten the vachetta all wet and no stains remained after drying. After that I also used Apple guard to prevent color transfer. And I try to wash my jeans more often so to reduce the color loss. I will still have to keep an eye on denim color transfer on the exterior pocket cause I wear a lot of denim. I will also patina champ this bag too. And then Apple guard it as well. I’m more worried about color transfer than water marks.

Did any of you all notice that this bag stays upright almost no matter how you wear it? He strap can go across your body but the bag does not tilt. It’s so funny. Do you know what I mean?

Would others mind sharing pros and cons so far?
