No, the bales are definitely square. I don't know what angle you'd need for round bales to look square, but those bales are square, no question.

I'm guessing they changed suppliers and got a bad batch, but don't want to own up to it yet. Maybe if enough of us email them, then they'd look into it more carefully.

No Gro, your eyesight is fine. Those are square bales. I did not like their email response to you at all.

The most important thing is that in our bags you can find the embossed Balenciaga item code inside the bag.That is the best way to say if one item is authentic or not.

Wow...we'd all be buying fakes right and left if we used this as our only criteria for determining authenticity!!

Maybe that's their problem ... maybe they've been duped by their supplier because they don't know any better!!

Well, it turns out that the Twiggy I ordered for my wife is out of stock and discontinued, and they have cancelled my order and refunded me my money. I guess that's a good thing since I won't have to worry about authenticity. Anyone else know where else I can get a Truffle Twiggy for a good price?

I don't know about a twiggy, but, online, check diabro.net for good prices (on certain items), and they still have some things in truffle. Other than that, I'd call Aloha Rag, but I think truffle would be full price there. I don't like ordering from most department stores sight-unseen.

middle pic of the white and top pic of the brown seem to be the best ones to see the squareness (is that a word? ) would they send out pics to customers of just the shoulder straps?
