I have yet to buy a bag this season.
It is only a matter of time…

Same as you, only made a small bag purchase. Lonchamp pouch with a conversion kit and a leather strap in order to carry my phone when I leave my office but stays in the building. My main impulse buy area stays preloved clothes… too hard to stay away from this instant gratification…

Saw a black Chanel yacht tote once in a second hand shop and loved the fact that the logo was quite discreet.

I may be wrong but the tote is not so hard to find. So you can pass on it for now and if really you regret it in a few months you’ll have other opportunities to have it…

My ban is a temporary clothes ban(until early April), but I May need a hysterectomy , so may have to break it to buy appropriate clothing/more nightwear..

So far so good, and no bags, although I would ❤️ a new handbag as well!

This advantage is that this one is local (Vancouver) and I'm staying "Canada Strong" for the foreseeable future. I did look around though, to compare prices, and couldn't find more than one or two. This one is also form someone I have a seller's relationship with, and I trust her when she days it's a 9.5/10. Still, the ban...

Welp, I did cave, and purchased the Chanel. I was able to go see it IRL, and she dropped the price for me as well. However, I'll sell my black On the Road tote, as I have it in two colours, so I feel a little better about it!

Honestly, the fact that it's my first bag purchase of 2025 is nothing short of amazing.
