I had been going to end my clothing ban with a day out shopping with my girlfriend mid April for my birthday, but my Mum has suddenly deteriorated and is having palliative care(this is hard to write)- so we have rescheduled for Wednesday 2nd April, as I need a day out, as long as I can still have a day out by next week..

How do your first three months end ?
Personally I'm quite proud for several reasons : I rehomed my last three H gavroches (I will now stay away from that size). I wasn’t tempted by no bag at all, which is pretty rare ; at the same time I'm feeling nauseous while thinking of the value of my small collection. I hope this state of mind will last under the name of purse peace.
Last but not least I managed to get my true wish today : the VCA Lucky Animal hummingbird brooch. Honestly for years I didn’t dare to think I might own this beauty one day. It’s just... like hypnotizing, and I'm so satisfied I finally ordered and purchased it.

A thoughtful or long-searched for purchase is worth it!
Don’t know what to think about last month… Didn’t get any new bag or expensive clothes but spent a lot of money on little things. I have to be more careful in April about that… I also bought new (good quality) pillows and bedsheets because of a sale but that was something I needed so I’m ok with that. I also rehomed my vintage Vuitton noe as the shape didn’t work for me and left my medium Niki (I prefer the baby size) at my local consignment shop but it didn’t sell so far…
The thing is… I saw a beautiful pre loved garden party 30 in grey leather on a website… Never was interested in B or K but Garden Party 🤩 I don’t know anything about Hermes so I have to browse the dedicated forum to educate myself. I don’t know if the price is right and if I can get it serviced (the corners are slightly used).
Anyway I will wait in order to be sure that I really want this bag. And in any case I won’t buy if my Niki doesn’t sell.
And I’ll try to be more savvy in April…

Even though I don’t have one anymore, I sold mine due to a very bad color choice (FOMO, you know what I mean...)

Didn’t buy it (yet)… I’m not sure if the price is right because of the scuffed corners and slightly discoloured handles… And I’ll only buy it if my Niki sells at my local second hand luxury store. It is sitting there for a while month now… I’ll wait and see. If this GP sells in the meantime I’ll find another one later. Try not to succumb to FOMO
I need this thread. I just downsized my bag collection to just the bags I love and use the most, and I'm very happy about it. I'm also happy with what I own and I want to focus on using those. But the overconsumption demon keeps tempting me and telling me I could get just one more bag. Gotta flex those no buy/low buy muscles again and get back into this habit. I want to save more money and pay off credit card debt.
