Yes, it was your modeling pictures inspired me to get one also. I got a wool one, and I think I will keep it. I am playing it indoors too, but vice versa, it is getting warm outside already. :hrmm: I just love this blazer so much!:heart: Thank you!

IMHO, you'd never have too many black blazer. Balmain blazer is timeless, especially the black blazer. I'd choose the black one. Now you need to decide between gold and silver buttons :-).

and what's the difference between wool and wool-twill??

I am not too sure about twill. My guess is twill fabric is very smooth and weight is lighter. Wool is thicker with a little texture. There is also basketweave fabric, which has been discussed above. It has the strongest texture among the three. Mine is wool, and I love its structure and weight.

thanks....after thinking about it for days, i agreed that black is the way to go. gold buttons for me...hahaha...
i did more research and am going to barneys to see them in real life. if i have to wait, i want the fabric that is not shiny like satin material, may be i'll go for the basketweave version. will report back later today.

just want to report back that there's not many sizes let at the store....i did try on 36 which i thought it's my size. for some reason the SA told me i needed a bigger size....?? i could lift my arms up though. i always think it just looks ridiculous if a fitted blazer looks big on someone.
the SA also told me to get the wool not the basketweave for the first Balmain blazer.....but i am not sure. i like both, but i prefer the texture of the basketweave....
i think i'll just wait for NAP....the SA didn't even bother to put my name down.....

Agree!
Get the size that YOU like the best. Maybe go back to try it again and then take modeling pics -- sometimes it helps looking at pics afterwards.

Will you keep the blazer? Will the creases go away eventually? Can't believe they sent it folded. I am bit upset. Will Balmain reissue the basket weave in black the coming season??IMG_1496328382.599564.jpg
