Can anyone post the sleeve measurements of their blazer? Also has anyone gotten the sleeves taken up? How was that experience? Would I be able to take the blazer to Balmain to get it tailored if I bought it not from the boutique but from Luisa Via Roma?

Hey guys, I just bought a Balmain wool Blazer in size 34. The other option was 36 in wool/polyester blend. The site didn’t have measurements so I’m really hoping that it’ll fit. Just wondering if anyone with my measurements could let me know what size they wear! I’m 158cm tall, 84cm/33inch bust, 68cm/25inch waist. I live in Australia and it’s really hard to get one in store to try on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can still change it!

Read or search through this forum as I recall ppl making alterations. Even if balmain won't alter it for a fee in house, they may recommend a tailor.

I'm thinking 34 will be too tight. I'm less busty than you and I'm a size 36.

For measurements you can refer to matchesfashion or mytheresa as they are different depending in size.

Unfortunately the size 36 sold out by the time I tried to purchase it, but as I purchased it on sale for 50% I don’t really want to return it! I’ve read previous posts about people altering jackets to go down in size, but has anyone managed to go up in size? I’m assuming that the bust/waist may have to be relaxed? I’m guessing if the armholes need to be altered it’ll be much more tricky? Sooooo sad

Anybody know what the difference is between Pierre Balmain and Balmain? I know the price point of Pierre Balmain is reasonable, but, I am wondering about quality. If it looks really cheap?
I had one in my cart on TRR for a couple of days. But, I didn’t purchase it. Was wondering if anyone ever did a comparison?

I think quality of PB is very good, but I've only tried their blazers. Only reason I returned it was bc the sleeves were longer than Balmain line.
