So casual today that I'm wearing it with joggers, aka sweats. This jacket really dresses up anything.View attachment 4234020

You have a great collection!! & look stunning!!
I was gifted this coat as an early holiday present - should be arriving soon & I’m loving the knit sleeve! It’s the only thing keeping me away from Halloween candy right now! :P Gotta love French cuts...

Oh wow, thats a beautiful coat. Those buttons are recognizable from a mile away. I'm a sucker for 3/4 length coats with a cool edgy vibe. Lucky girl you are for getting such a great gift this holiday! Share when it arrives.

Love all the jackets on you. I just bought my 3rd during Black Friday. But the buttons on this last one and from the one from last year I just noticed do not say Balmain and only have the lion. My first one from 3 years ago has the word Balmain on every button. All 3 have the five buttons for the cuffs. Please someone tell me this is normal.
My 2 chanel jackets all have Chanel written on all the buttons.
Thank you.

Did a quick look thru of mine and no balmain on buttons.

Hi everyone! I’m new to this thread :) congrats to everyone on their purchases! Such a gorgeous blazer! I’m in need of some advice I just got mine in size 36 from farfetch (black, 100% wool with gold hardware) and its a tag snug, meaning I can’t button it up ... lol ... the shoulder and arm length fits nicely though but a bit tight around the arms (probably can’t wear a long sleeve underneath) Should I exchange it for a 38? I mostly wouldn’t be wearing it buttoned up anyways but would be ideal if I I could, right? given it’s an online purchase, I’m worried about (1) not exchangeable for the price I bought it for (~50% off), if this is true then forget it lol and (2) would 38 be too big around the shoulders maybe given their signature ‘out there’ shoulder pads? I would prefer not to get it altered ... thanks in advance!!

I think if it’s tight around the arms and you can’t button it, it’s too small. Even if you won’t wear it buttoned up it just won’t fit the right way, you risk ripping the blazer if the arms are too snug and it’ll never be as comfortable as the right size. Sleeve length is very easy to fix if the 38 is a bit long. I think the best think you should do is go to a store, try a 38 on, compare and decide.

As the original poster of the thread this was the exact same problem I had when purchasing! Between these two sizes. My arms used to hurt in the 36 at first, I could do it up but could not really love my arms but it did loosen up. That size then became faulty so I was able after 6 months to return it and opted for the bigger 38. Whilst the 38 is more comfortable it doesn’t quite clinch in at the waist the same, though I wouldn’t buy a jacket for this price that I can’t do up so if you’re unable to close it yet the bigger size IMO.

Post pics and we can give you opinions
