I am so excited, last weekend I got a Large size Automatic Cartier Ballon Bleu. It's definitely the first luxury watch I've had, and I am **madly in love**!!!
I tried it on at the Cartier boutique on 5th Ave, but then we went to Wempe, across the street, and they gave us something (not huge) of a discount, plus no tax since we shipped the watch home.
It's a large face, but I am a tall girl with long hands, so I think it's perfect for me!
This is mostly Contessa's fault. She told me a story about how Prince William asked for Princess Diana's Cartier watch because she had taught the boys how to tell time on that watch. I look forward to teaching my daughter how to tell time on this watch!
I can't take my eyes off of it! I can't even take my ears off it, I keep turning off my podcasts to listen to it's movement.
I am feeling a little guilty, like I am mistreating the watch and the Love bracelet by wearing them together, but I love how they look together SO much, and I feel like the YG next to the SS softens the paleness of my skin. Both the Wempe and Cartier SA said that the bubble on the right hand side of the watch (what is the correct name of that?) would protect both pieces. We'll see.
