I can't see the pen mark where is it? If its on the inside I was told by a SA that the lining isn't suede but alcantra and something should take it out. If she was wrong about the lining then nothing will remove that from suede. If its on the outside becareful with the hairspray if the leather is coated the coating will be removed by the spray.

Nordstrom has an awesome returm policy. My advice is to try and get it out. That is a finished leather, yes?

You could get the apple guarde leather cleaner, or try the hairspray trick; which could pull color out though - so, I would go for a leather cleaner.

It's hard for me to judge the color(I'm used to neutral/safe colors, only have 1 white bag and 1 red bag in my collection) but the style of the bag itself is beautiful. I have to agree with Serendipity3kb, you paid full price for it ( if it's really noticable/damaging) send it back to the clutsy person who packed it!

I'm not sure if I know how to make this work... But here's a shot. Few photos of my new ball bag:

My only beef is that there is a pen mark that's about an long on it.... This is the ONLY new ball bag I could track down in orange. Do you think the pen mark isn't that big a deal? It's not a heavy, dark mark.... I do love the contrasting blue interior...

The photos seem to make the purse seem like it's a much brighter orange than it really is. I'm not TOTALLY in love yet--but I think I need to see this purse in daylight. It arrived tonight and it's too dark outside for a real evaluation. What do you guys think?

I think for almost 2 grand a pen mark, however small is a HUGE deal...

Beautiful!!! I don't know what to tell you about the pen mark, at the very least they should discount the bag if you decide to keep it. At those prices, it should be perfect.
