there are various items going into sale. including purses. we mail order to anywhere inside the UK for a charge of £10. outside of the UK, you will have to ring for a personal quote, as postage varies. if anybody does want a mail order, then call selfridges TRAFFORD CENTRE, and they are usually really good and will help you. you will have to ring to enquire about colours etc on the 28th.

Selfridges Trafford Centre are very good with mail order, my bf bought me a bag from their sale last year. I think it arrived the next day but then I live in the area.
And of course Balensiagas go on sale, I was talking about it with a couple of SAs in Manchester Harvey Nics who mentioned having a sale before getting the new stuff in

i am the balenciaga manager and we DO mail orders on sale bags. i can guarantee. we still charge the standard £10. they are very speedy whereever you are in the UK. this is because selfridges use a courier service.
thx lizling! i will try to pop in the one in london on 28th...if i cannot see what i want i will just call the Trafford Centre one see if they do mail order...coz i actually have spoken to the Balenciaga Accesories department in Trafford, they said they NEVER do mail order to sales...if it is the case...can u help me?

I have to admit that I have not seen city or part time in the sale. Going by the last sale, I saw the box style on sale (probably because it was being discontinued), The large weekenders, whistle bags and other misc bal bags that are more structured. Oh and the accessories were on sale too. This year I guess a lot of the GH bags will go on sale as Selfridges and Harvey Nics are full of them. I've never seen black or white bals on sale only the seasonal colours.

I spoke to Mala Summan, the Balenciaga specialist today in Selfridges, Birmingham and she's advised me that several white bags are going on sale on the 28th (she didn't say which style, though), First in marine and possibly a City bag in this colour are also in the sale. Together with a range of quilted colours. She's really helpful and is in the store tomorrow, if you want to give her a call.
Ali-bagpuss - have you spoken to Cricket in Liverpool? They had a black City when I was last in store and their prices of £650 for a City are cheaper than other authorised retailers. They may even have one in the sale since the one I saw was from 2006. Might be worth a try and they will post out to you.
Really! Cricket charged me £675 for a first! They dont seem to sale bags very often either I onlyhave ever seen the pony that went in the sale!
