In addition, my most basic worry with the backpack is theft. It's easier for people to steal stuff when it's on your back - happened to me. Also, with leather ones...,it feels like an odd material for a backpack to me.I don't get backpacks. I saw at least a dozen women with them today.
It seems very inconvenient to take it off to be able to use it. If you want to be hands free, why not use a crossbody? Also are you going on a hike or to school? No, food shopping. With a backpack that I have to put on when I get out of the car, and take it off to give my child a juice box, then put it back on until I get to the register and do it all over again? I really don't get this trend at all.
Is that plastic sheath being marketed to germophobes? Or women who frequent public restrooms? It's been mentioned before but plastic bags that are $$$ are ridiculous. They were trendy 10- 20 yrs ago with Hermes,, Chanel and LV making them and now it seems they are back in style. Some people get upset for paying 5 cents for a plastic grocery bag but it's fine to spend $$$$ for one if it's "fashun"!
I remembered when Chanel did this. It's almost like Costco will be stocking Chanel that year.

it is actually called BaseballIn terms of aesthetics, I don’t get hobo bags. I find them so ugly, especially that BV one.. in my head, it just looks like a ball sack with a hole in it (no offense to anyone that likes them). For functionality, I don’t get designer backpacks. Regular backpacks are for lugging around heavy books/items and are meant to be durable, so it feels weird seeing backpacks in delicate leathers and hardware that can get scratched. Also I absolutely don’t get the LV Palm Springs hype.. especially the mini one. I love mini bags as much as the next girl but a mini backpack is just so strange to me

There are other bags that I dislike but I can see their appeal to others.. hobo bags and tiny backpacks; I just don’t get it.![]()
when we travel, i carry my DH's stuff in MY backpack, and he carries mine in his, so when you need YOUR stuff, you just get it right awayI also feel like someone needs to explain this to me. I had a backpack for my camera gear, but found it horribly inconvenient to get my dSLR in and out while traveling. I see women who bring nicer backpacks while on holiday, and they often wear them on the front of their bodies, which begs the question, why bring it at all? And yes, unless you're with someone who can get the thing from your backpack while you're out with the kids, I feel like there are better options out there.

Yep there’s no way I could fit all of my stuff in those mini bags... And being almost 6 foot tall, I think I’d look like I shoped at Toys R Us for my bag.I agree with backpack hype and super mini bags like the Gucci Super Mini Marmont, so
small, hardly anything fits in there.
