Bag Lining-which of your bags has the best/worst?

I agree, linings are a deciding factor for me also when choosing a bag. If it's a busy pattern I will not buy the bag.
Ysl has a silky satin lining that feels luxurious and in my downtown the top portion is a wonderful black suede that feels like velvet.:cloud9:

For me I love my Gucci & RM linings (apart from the birdies). The worst quality of bag linings has to be Foley + Corinna. Its made of a thin black cotton and looks like it would rip very soon, so I have to be extra careful with them.

the worst: balenciaga bags, i mean for the money, can they put a little more thought into them than just plain black?? and some of them are quite large, so its like a big black hole....

My new Ed Hardy bag from Target ($92 inc. TX sales tax) has the cutest lining of all my bags. Here is the lining.

It has the Ed Hardy signature & Tiger Head. The outside of the bag is cute too (see my thread Cute Summer find at Target!) & it makes a good bag to carry on those rainy Spring/Summer days when I don't to carry my Azur Speedy.

I love simple balck or dark linings like for example in balenciagas because they're easy to keep clean and . . . I once had a marc by marc jacobs bag with a pretty flower lining and it was so difficult to keep clean. actually for me it's more important that the bag looks great outside, the inside has to be practical and and sewn properly. . . so I guess I'm very easy to satisfy ;)

though the lining in my YSL muse is very simple and I don't like it at at, it's too slippery for me, but like I said I don't judge a bag by it's lining as long as the quality is good.

I like this thread...the best linings are in my Longchamp Quadri Handbags. Cute and functional. I also like MZ Wallace's linings...signature fabric and lots of pockets. Worst for me is lining with no pockets or thst are a big black hole. I need a light or bright interior with organization. I also hate "loose linings" if that makes sense...I don't like it when the lining moves around inside the bag. I also don't like super busy or loud prints.

I think this thread is worth reviving because I'm realizing more and more how important linings are. They aren't everything, I know, but if you are blowing serious cash on a bag, that lining better be luxurious.

So for me, my favorite lining: Jimmy Choo's moleskin, which is the like the Butter of the Suede Family.

And honestly, the worst? Everything else. Cotton and nylon just don't cut it.
