Bag Limits at Different Boutiques

My boutique is the same way. I bought a Kelly, DH paid for it on his account, and both SA and SM said "His quota's done, but if another bag comes in for you, you can buy it."
Only when Mercury is in retrograde.
Does any know if the quota in the system is linked to the passport presented or the credit card used to pay for it?
I'm NY based and currently traveling. I visited a boutique and looked at some bags. Prior to my purchase, the SA said that there is a 7 bag per year limit per person. This is the first time I have ever heard of this. I informed this new SA that my purchases are probably beyond that, and my normal SA permits me as it is not just B/K/C. This SA then replied "well if they want to keep their jobs, they shouldn't"

Hi- I believe it's the passport- I went to FSH and qued in line- my dear SA told me the 6 month rule but he said try anyways for your own satisfaction [emoji5]️... Sure enough the SA at leather department took my passport and informed me I had bought one just one month back and he actually really wanted to help me with my request. He gave me his card and said come back even in 3 months he can help out.
Any idea if there's an age requirement in order for a bag to be registered under a person's name? I got a bag a month ago but i am planning to go back in 2 months time. Wondering if i can purchase a bag (if i am offerred one) under my brother's name. He's 17 this year.
Yes, it's the passport and 6 months rule apply. I remember when I first got my birkin from FSH, the SA informed me that for another 6 months i won't be able to purchase any B or K. Luckily my mother was traveling with me so I could get another Kelly from the other store in paris. And I got my 2nd Birkin after 6 months. But it's not necessary that it has to be exactly 6 months, I am sure the SA can still help if its 5months or so. Good Luck!
Hi - I Doubt there is an age limit... Now I'm sure if my dear son at 2 yrs old is trying to get a bag there would be some eyebrows raised but 17 should be fine [emoji5]️
Hi, do you know how the 6 months is calculated? is it from the day you made the purchase, or from a certain period of time? for example, if you purchase a b/k on 1/1, then the next date you can purchase another one would be on the first of June? or is it from Jan to Jun, then July to Dec? really want to know the answer. TIA.
Hi, As far I remember it's from a certain period of time for example, from Jan to Jun and after Jun you can go for another one. I highly doubt if they are that strict with the exact date the purchase is made.
It may be boutique dependent but at my boutique it's Jan-Jun and then Jul-Dec per my SA.
I also believe the 17 yr old would have to pay...use a cc in his name or cash, etc. I don't think you can use your cc. Someone jump in if i'm wrong here....
right. u can make your son a signer on your credit card but it must have his name on the card. also they will create a client profile for him. But honestly can vary bc it's ultimately up to the SM to agree with it....
