Wow, that's pretty bad. You don't expect it from a company that's so well known, I won't be buying anything from them in the future.

I can assure you that at least 36 items on their site are/were authentic, because they were purchased from ME. BBoS gets most of their inventory from people like you and me. I am disappointed that some fakes obviously slipped through their authenticators, but that won't stop me from renting from them. (I don't buy from them, their prices are way too high).
I have looked at their sales before, and have never been able to figure out how they can justify asking so much $$ for bags that are NOT ONLY just pre-owned, you know - tags cut off, carried a few times.. but carried by several women, who knows where, shipped out & back how many times? And they're still asking hundreds of dollars for them? RIP OFF!!
Ok so this one slipped thru the cracks. That doesn't mean that ALL their bags are fake. BBOS does have a return policy, so if you get a bag that is fake, simply return it. Buying from them is like buying at any other secondhand site. Even Fashionphile has been caught w/ fakes before (among other things).
That said, I'm sure this is really irritating to the people who sent them REAL Coach (and other brands) only to have the bag declined for not meeting their standards....

This might just be ONE that slipped through the cracks, but if I was looking to sell my bag to them as a consumer (speaking in general, not for myself) why would I want to associate with a site that obviously does not do their due diligence in making sure they are only buying 100% real bags? I mean if I had asked them to price a REAL coach bag and they gave me less value than perhaps they gave the person that just sold them a FAKE coach, then why would I give them my patronage? There are other sites that buy/sell Coach as consignment (like Ann's Fab. Finds) who take authentication quite a bit more seriously.
After all, all it takes is one fake or non-authentic bag for someone to see on a site and their trust in that site dips (as it does for ebay or Bonz sellers, once you see one fake you are more on guard with that seller from then on). Trust is easy to give, harder to earn back once it's been lost.

Oh yea, I am not the worlds leading expert on all Coach styles by any means... BUT THAT SUCKER IS FAKE... and it is really bad that they have the never to sell it for that price say that it is a price reduction... IT also does not help that below there are pictures of other real Signatures Coach bags...
