Bag abuser!!!

On the ground??? UGH!
Well, let alone that I am a "germ" and "clean freak." You're handbag is a "personal accessory." We carry makeup, feminin products, etc., it even bugs me to put money in my wallet at times. Going to a public restroom can be a great acrobatic feat trying to hold that bag on my shoulder and pull down pants, but I will never hang my purse on that hanger and never ever set it on any floor, not even my own!
just wondering, and probably shouldn't askush: b/c i'm already such a germ freak, but why not the hanger on the door? I know it's not ideal but it's the best choice sometimes... so what do you know that i now NEED to know. ha ha

here's my trick (I walk with a cane right now so I have a cane and a purse to deal with): I grab either some tp or one of those toilet seat liners and stick it over the hook, then I hang purse and cane on top of liner, so it is on the hook but not touching the hook

I am the EXACT same way! I don't set my handbag on any surface. You should see me stuggle sometimes at a checkout because I won't let it touch the counter, hehe. Wow, I try to be careful with my bag but I do not stress over where to set it as long as its safe and looks reasonably clean. I am an avid handwasher however lol
We do that all the time! Or if we are in a booth and there is one person on a side, all of our purses will be over in the empty space next to her.
I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm terminally single, so I usually wind up being a 3rd wheel when I go out with a friend and their significant other... or increasingly a girlfriend and their child... but the upside is... you get the spare seat for your purse.
ok soooooo sue me, im a total bag "abuser"!!!! I try to take good care of my bags, but to me it's not a big deal! Ive been known to put my guccis, pradas and yes even coaches on the ground. I actually just came back from the casino (150 richer wohooo) and my bag was squished in my lap....i honestly dont think any of my bags have lost their shape because of it
My trunk and backseat look like a closet and i always have at least three hand bags somewhere in the car in case i need to change it up...
I think it's unfair to judge the poor lady and call her an "abuser" and even THINK her bag was fake! to me that is just rude and i cant even fathom what people must think of my bags because unless it is white or suade its pretty much everywhere...its a bag after all and thats what dry cleaners are for!!!

The one thing i cant do after hearing about the nastyness of a bag is put the bag on the floor of the bathroom and on any kitchen surface!!

Hmm...I suppose if I could afford to buy guccis and pradas, I could probably also afford not to worry about the condition I leave my bags in. But I can't, so i'm left with making my Coaches last as long as possible.

Lets not make this about money and what we can and can't afford.
We each have our own opinions about how to treat our own bags, and that's fine! Let's not cross the line in being too judgemental about others treatment of their bags! To each their own.
I am not able to replace all my bags if I ruin them, but I still am guilty of placing my bag on the floor at times. It is after all, just a bag (albeit one that I love) but still, I'm not going to worry myself away over it. Life's too short. I could drop dead tomorrow and then what?

I saw a lady at the gym yesterday carrying her Large Denim Carly...AT THE GYM!!!
On the public restroom note....I would NEVER EVER put my purse on the ground!!! If there is not a hook I will HOLD it and SQUAT....NEVER ON THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
