So excited I am waiting for my first AW bag. I ordered a pebbled leather Rockie in black. All my bags are LV and I was deciding between this or a Chanel for my birthday as I am trying to branch out a bit. I hope I made the right decision.

Great choice, and happy birthday! I'm so glad I branched out to AW, I have two bags and a third is on the way. I'm obsessed and want more lol

Thanks. I have been looking for the perfect black leather bag. Was going to get a Phillip Lim Pashli but changed my mind last minute due to size concerns. Was thinking Chanel but I have never been too big of a fan so then I found Alexander Wang and thought the rockie was such a fab bag. I am alittle concerned about the weight though,

I don't find the Rockie that heavy, I guess it depends on what you're used to carrying. And on how much you stuff into it. I did pare down a little when I changed from my larger bags but found that I was actually carrying a lot of stuff I never used. And I could still put more into it if I wanted, it really is one of my fave bags. I know I'll get it in another colour at some point, which says a lot...:D

Thanks. I am use to carrying LV canvas bags. I do have two from the multicolor line that have studs and heavier hardware so I am hoping the Rockie wont be any heavier than those. I agree about carrying way too much stuff its funny how much stuff we can put into our bags and not even really need. Its like I am prepared just incase a natural disaster hits while I am out shopping, atleast that's what my fiancé says lol.

My quest to pack the world into a handbag started when my twin girls were little...I've finally realized I don't need quite as much now that they have bags of their own :p .BTW I emptied out my Rockie and weighed it on my kitchen scale, it's 2 lbs, 4 oz.

Thanks for weighing it. That's kind of heavy but not as bad as a McQueen I was looking at that was just over 5 pounds empty.
