im down wit gettin blk, brown, brick . . any of those colors except smoke . . . dang i had a friend who worked at barneys, but now hes nowhere to be found!! im still checkin out this thread so if you ladies hear of anything please help me out!!

I'm nervous for the Forest Roccos now... I saw that a user posted on the Alexander Wang forum on The Fashion Spot that her Forest Rocco's piping has ripped and is showing the white piping underneath. This seems to be a problem that is affecting people everywhere!

I will be SO disappointed if this is the case.

^^ My Forest does show minimal wear on the piping, one corner in particular, but I really don't feel like it's anything to be too concerned over. I really am not one to baby my bags... I mean I take care of them, but I am not anal. I think it's really like most designer leather bags in the fact that it's inevitably going to show wear with time. I think some of these bags we are seeing or hearing about are extreme examples of what can happen when and if a bag is abused. There's one on ebay right now that's a good example of that! I personally would not be overly concerned. I'd just keep your receipt an info in a safe place so that if anything where to become of it down the road you could contact AW and see what they could do for you! If this does become a problem, AW will most definitely have to hold up their end of the bargain as these bags aren't cheap and I would think an up and coming co & designer would want to save face, kwim?

Phew, thanks for the reassurance. I just hate how the piping underneath is white. Like white under black or a dark colour? You'd think they'd be smarter and make it black? Anyway, congrats on your Donna!! I'm excited to see it.. I haven't seen it on anyone in Mocha!

haha..that's so cute. i remember hiding bags from my dad and now i hide bags from DH..well not really because i have to take it out sometime..and now DH knows about every bag i own so it's not like i can bust out a new one anymore....
