My jewelers are always trying to fit me into a 3.75 while I'm more comfortable with a 4, in case it's gets hot out. One even suggested a 3.5, probably to save gold.

I had no idea they made rings that tiny!!! I always assumed the smallest size was 4 for some reason.That's one big advantage of being size 1, all rocks will look big.Lucky!
I'm a 6.5-7. Just like my shoe size.
Luckily, 7 is a really common size.
I'm an Australian size H which equates to a US 4. Like many of you with little fingers my friends always laugh when they try on my rings as they're lucky to get them over the knuckle of their smallest finger. I'm 27 now and have had the same sized fingers since I was 10. Same goes with my shoes. Tiny feet, hands, arms and ankles. Almost every piece of jewellery I own has been custom made.
I have very chubby fingers too 6.5-7 for the ring finger... and the rest it only goes up from there 7,8,9... but my left hand is quite a big smaller than my right.
i think the average ones are 7 because on some jewerly makers just get out 7, 8 n if you want 2 custom they charge you. and also most of pple I know are 7 lol im not even close im a 9!!! sad i know but they dont look that weird for some reason if i see my finger looks like an 8 idk y im 9 lol.
