I always thought I had small fingers, everyone who has ever done my nails has told me that.
I guess not.
Size 6 & 7 are considered average size. Wow, it does seem like PFer's do have smaller then average fingers! David Yurman usually only carries size 6 & 7, sometimes you can find a rare size 5 but otherwise you have to special order or size up or down...
I bought my Yurman ring that I wear everyday on my right hand on a really hot (over 100 out) summer day when was walking in NYC and I bought teh size 5 thinking it fit then even though I knew my finger is smaller then that bbut it was a wide band ring. I have been wearing it too big for like 5 years! Once It even fell off in a bathroom garbage can! My finger is really about 4.25. My other rings are 4.5 but are a bit loose and turn, I should get them sized down. I also have bigger knuckles, my finger is much thinner at the bottom but it has to go over the knuckle...

I think the demographic on PF means they'll naturally be smaller than average: younger females, looks and fashion conscious AKA more likely to be slim (not necessarily of course, but more so than the general population I'd say).
Or maybe those with smaller fingers are simply more inclined to post their size.

Thats very interesting...I think generally petite and small boned woman tend to have smaller fingers although that is certainly not always the case...Most of the smaller women that I know also have smaller fingers...
I'm glad I'm not the only one! I wear a 7.5-8 on my ring finger and my shoes are size 10-11.
I feel like a circus freak compared to the other PFers in this thread.
6.5 or 7 depending on thickness of ring. (I'm 5'7", 125 lbs to put it in perspective). I envy my girlfriends who have size 5 fingers... they can wear small diamonds, but they look big on their tiny fingers. 
I forgot to include my ring finger lol (since I usually wear LV Inclusion rings but on my index finger)
Anyway, 5.5 on my ring finger, 6 or 6.5 on all others.
