I was close to ordering several of these, already had them in the bin but not payed yet. Then I found out at the French site that these are twill PLUME!!
the thin "summer silk" ! What a bummer, I do not like this texture, I much prefer regular silk twill or what they called "winter silk" some years ago.
And the desire is gone...

I completely understand you. I was very interested by the 140 cm washed silk from last season but did not like the texture.

La Danse finally arrived. It pains me, but in my case it's a near miss. The background of much of the center panel and the corner circles is a very pale vanilla (maybe even a bit pistachio?) color that I don't care for with my skin tone, and the greens don't vibe with any of my wardrobe greens. It is a lovely scarf however, posting a few mod shots in case it helps others decide. The colors are showing pretty true to life in my opinion.

This is the second Fall/Winter collection that the 140cm silk is produced in plume, not the regular twill. It used to be Plume silk was only for the Spring/Summer collections but that hasn't been the case since last year.

Eeeek! Please excuse the excitement, but I’ve just ordered my first ever shawl from the French site! Eeeek!

I will take photos when it arrives next week... I’m shaking all over!

Look at it as a special purchase, one that you will remember, and likely keep, forever. I think that it's a general human tendency to identify some things as special and others as mundane or everyday. You're (and just about everyone else) is entitled to a special purchase now and then, few people would argue with me

I'm sure we are missing Della Cavalleria double sided, a bandana of Grands Carosses des Ambassadors and I believe there was a 90cm carre mentioned called Photosynthese that I have seen no sign of yet. It is not unusual for different things to drip into the season as it goes along and you have to bear in mind that manufacturing capacity was knocked out in spring. It can be frustrating, but also surprising and there is vast variability between continents and nations depending on what the individual buyers think will sell in their territory.

True. I saw a spectrum of the Garden of Squares 90cm by Nigel Peake on the Canadian H site. I quite liked this 90cm Nigel and have been hoping I'd see more 90s from him. But this design has not made it to the US site. (And, I can't buy from the Canadian site unless I'm there, right?).

Thanks! It’s actually a 90 cm wash silk. It’s a bit more velvet-feeling than the normal 90 cm silks.
