The story behind
The browband, a decorative piece connected to the rest of the bridle by a rosette or hook, adorns the horse's forehead and its design can mark its membership of a family or clan. Virginie Jamin is passionate about the Émile Hermès collection and its equestrian pieces. Here she imagines a woven frame in which these decorated straps take flight, evocative of horse shows. The suppleness of movement is emphasized by the sinuous curves of the leather pieces, which intermingle, intersect or brush against each other in a dazzling choreography.

I’m drawn to this for some reason. Cw 2 or 3. Very different from what I usually like...thanks for keeping us informed with all of your posts!

La Danse finally arrived. It pains me, but in my case it's a near miss. The background of much of the center panel and the corner circles is a very pale vanilla (maybe even a bit pistachio?) color that I don't care for with my skin tone, and the greens don't vibe with any of my wardrobe greens. It is a lovely scarf however, posting a few mod shots in case it helps others decide. The colors are showing pretty true to life in my opinion.

Here is the botanica colorway of the Les Leopards Modernes wash (apologies for the poor lighting!) I haven’t taken the tag off yet, but pretty sure I’m keeping her. I love the soft feel of wash scarves, and these colors are very feminine and pretty. I am a sucker for pale pink and sage green, so this slots into my wardrobe nicely. I think this is one of the prettier scarves in this colorway!
