Here is the botanica colorway of the Les Leopards Modernes wash (apologies for the poor lighting!) I haven’t taken the tag off yet, but pretty sure I’m keeping her. I love the soft feel of wash scarves, and these colors are very feminine and pretty. I am a sucker for pale pink and sage green, so this slots into my wardrobe nicely. I think this is one of the prettier scarves in this colorway!

Hm, not sure how I feel about this. Where's the rest of the design?

La Danse finally arrived. It pains me, but in my case it's a near miss. The background of much of the center panel and the corner circles is a very pale vanilla (maybe even a bit pistachio?) color that I don't care for with my skin tone, and the greens don't vibe with any of my wardrobe greens. It is a lovely scarf however, posting a few mod shots in case it helps others decide. The colors are showing pretty true to life in my opinion.

Oh, too bad you don't like it. These pictures are quite wonderful! Thank you.

I love that scarf in that color way, which is why I purchased it for myself. One of the reasons I love it so much is that it forces me to wear green with my pink, and I have nothing at all in green as far as clothing goes, despite having green eyes. I have a burgundy colored blazer that will work with this scarf.

The story behind
The strange, South African protea flower has become a national symbol, flourishing at the heart of the fynbos, a mountainous, coastal ecosystem of exceptional biodiversity, benefiting from the Mediterranean climate of the Western Cape. Enshrined majestically at the center of this carré, in a fresh interpretation of a traditional, stylized design, the bloom evokes the signature ceramics produced by the Ardmore collective, the creative force behind this striking composition. Established by Fee Halsted in 1985, in KwaZulu Natal, this group of Zulu, Zimbabwean and Sotho artists aims to promote creativity and preserve the region’s aesthetic heritage. This is their third carré for the House of Hermès, following The Savana dance and La marche du Zambèze.

I was close to ordering several of these, already had them in the bin but not payed yet. Then I found out at the French site that these are twill PLUME!!
the thin "summer silk" :-s! What a bummer, I do not like this texture, I much prefer regular silk twill or what they called "winter silk" some years ago.
And the desire is gone...
