I had the same issue; I've used them many times in the past and I know it's not like them - their service is usually so fast. I messaged them on Facebook last week and got a reply almost immediately. (Whoever said they've been inactive since May is incorrect.) Lesley apologized profusely - she is having personal issues and is not always in the office right now - and offered to personally take care of getting my authentication.

I sent an authentication request on 5/2015 and never received a respond. The item was sold and I've never followed up because it was only a few bucks I lost to authenticate4u. I just requested another authentication and sent on 8/1 but not a word back. I sent an email asking what's going but I guess it's the weekends so I won't hear back until I hope Monday. But seriously, this kind of service is ridiculous.

My original email was on 7/26 - after contacting via FB late last week I'm hoping to receive a response within the next few days but it's really just for my own peace of mind at this point since it has been almost two weeks, the 4-day deadline from Tradesy has come and gone so if it is fake at least I only spent $40.

Try contacting her via FB - I had sent my original email and a follow up email a week later but got a response when I messaged her there.

I would gladly pay a few extra dollars per authentication if it would mean more staff and consistent turnaround time; I really do feel loyal to her service as she's been timely and consistent in my experiences and I would hate to think of going elsewhere.

You shouldn't have to pay a few extra dollars for the service to get a faster turnaround time.
Her communication needs to be better, IMO

Leslie seems to have various problems either service issues or personal issues, which many of us understand
but nonetheless, update your FACEBOOK page so clients know what is going on.

Why is it that she's more responsive via fb rather than her email? If she can check her fb messages I don't see why she has technical issues when it comes to her email.

Agree here.If she is having technical issues, address them to find out why they seem to be reoccuring more often than not..

This is a viable business that has a proven track record , why put any of
that in jeopardy when communication can be corrected so easily

Clients shouldn't have to chase her to get a response & their money back?

I am very pleased with the quick turnaround from photos sent to email response. And whoo hoo......I knew that it was authentic and now verified so that I can sell.

I'm glad to hear [emoji4]

I am still waiting...I never ended up getting an email response, still waiting on a Facebook response...hopefully tomorrow. I don't want to seem pushy since she told me it was out for authentication on Friday but I wonder where I am even at in the queue right now since its been two weeks [emoji21]

Let's hope you are at the front of the the queue.. 2 weeks that is really a long period for a response
without some kind of explanation as to what the delay might be... IYKWIM

Interesting how you are still waiting & another poster got a faster response than you.

I did follow-up with them a couple of times since I sent the photos and paid through PayPal and still had not heard back. After the second PM on Facebook, they responded back. I hope that you will hear back soon.

This is speculation based on my knowledge of how A4U is run. Since Lesley uses brand specialists, it's possible that it did go to the authenticator for whatever brand you are waiting on and the person might be slow, on vacation or some other reason for not responding quickly.

While there are problems and Lesley is the first to admit it, sometimes she's also at the mercy of her authenticators and the speed at which they work. I know some of them are quick and respond to requests almost instantaneously and others, not so much.

And since good authenticators are hard to find, it's not as simple as "firing" the slow one(s) and finding another.
