Authenticate4U.com experiences?

I am based in the UK and tried to use authenticate4u and despite leaving several telephone messages and emails, I never heard from them. This lead me not to bother with such unprofessional people again so I used realitycheck authentications and can't recommend them highly enough.

***************** is the LAST service I'd recommend.

What is the brand of the item you're wanting authenticated.

Ditto!

Fakespotters is another. However, as BB said, it depends on the designer brand. Some services are more versed in the Super Fakes of the various design houses than others. ***************** can't even identify the obvious fakes, much less the Super Fakes.

I just wanted to ask a question really, if no one minds. I am assuming that the range of potential employees for each of these agencies with design specialists is limited (thinking of how few authenticators the forum has for example) so how do we know it's not some of the same people working for all three of these agencies with specialists? I don't mind, I very rarely use the services but it just got me thinking.......

I too am looking for an authentication company recommendation. I have a Louis Vuitton I bought from the real real. I've done a lot of research and everything looks ok to me but something seems off so I want a second opinion. I'm new to purse blog (tho I am a long time reader) so I hate to bother the forum authenticators. I'm happy to pay someone, I just want a legit authentication.

Hello. For LV Bags, you might want to try Memes Treasures. I actually learned/read about them over here with good feedback. I have used them once awhile back and have been satisfied. Service very prompt.

Someone has made this recommendation... if there are comments
to be made about their authentication services, others will chime in,
but at least you have a starting point

Sorry the first quote was used in this comment

Why would anyone mind?

The forum is meant to share your views & thoughts..

And this is a fair question.. How would anyone know if one or more
specialists worked for several authenticating services

Not only 'how would anyone know' but also, why would it matter? People work freelance for whoever has the business coming in at the moment in a lot of fields.

What I find more dubious is all of these claims by multiple sites that they actually have several brand specialists since the area of expertise is so rare. I find this especially difficult to believe from a company that continuously drops the ball and leaves multiple customers waiting in silence for months at a time repeatedly for years.

Wow guys, I wasn't saying that I hoped anyone was sick. In fact I certainly hope they are not. It just seems that every time A4U goes off the grid for a few months, we eventually are told that someone got sick and caused the radio silence. So I'm wondering what happened this time.

Apparently her dd was diagnosed with MS (I believe) which would be simply devastating. It must be hard to try to run a business with that type of sadness and burden around one's neck.

That being said, if it were me in her shoes (heaven forbid) I would put someone else in charge while I was otherwise occupied or temporarily close down my business because keeping it up and "running" but getting all this bad press won't do her any good in the long run.

My prayers are with her and her family.

I believe it matters because we have company A, for example, saying authentic and company B saying not - if, with this limited field of expertise, they are the same people then why are mistakes happening?

With Carol, we know her extensive experience with LV, we know how her business came about etc etc. With the other companies, we have no idea who the people making these decisions are, hence my question. I have no idea who to trust and who not to trust as they all seem to be making mistakes and/or leaving customers stranded.

You said 'carol' has extensive experience with LV ... Is that caroldiva? I bought a pre owned LV and had it authenticated by Memes Treasures but want a second opinion just to help ease my nerves. I've never bought a pre loved handbag before and I'm super super nervous about it. Thank you!
