I'd contact them again & also as noted here, there are times that
authenticate4u will post on their social media site if there seems to
be an issue..

Not everyone uses social media, so it's my personal opinion you should've heard something by now without having to search it out on social media.

Paid and sent in a request 9 days ago. Got an one-line email on Day 3 saying it was under review and since then I haven't heard anything from them. Now the listing has ended and I still haven't heard from them.

How is this paid pre-sale service useful to someone who is looking to make a purchase?

I tried their service once, not satisfied with their very late response so I used ***************** few times but after reading some comments, I'm not sure if I can trust this company either. I am also still searching for reliable paid Authenticator especially for LV bags

Hello. For LV Bags, you might want to try Memes Treasures. I actually learned/read about them over here with good feedback. I have used them once awhile back and have been satisfied. Service very prompt.

You can try to contact them again & since you have paid for the service
which is not useful at this particular time unless the seller has re-listed the
the item & you can wait, you should receive a response or a refund.

Authenticate4U has a top notch reputation but lately it appears they are experiencing
some issues...perhaps, now is the time to try another service...

Is that an ebay accepted authenticator?

I ask because ebay and Paypal only have certain authenticators that
they will accept when used for a case.

I made the mistake of using an authenticator that ebay didn't authorize,
and ended up having to pay for a second authentication.. :(

Hello. I have only used Meme's for pre-owned items I have purchased but they do provide service and are accepted by ebay/paypal for authenticity disputes. Like A4U's owner, Memes awesome to deal with. :D

I understand that sometimes the amount of time A4U is taking may be frustrating. However, they are accurate and with the new return rules in place with Paypal, it seems it may not be as crucial. Do I think it is good customer service? No, but I would rather wait and get an authentication that I can rely on over one who has an iffy reputation.

If the company is making their presence on social media a part of their service/communication process, then I see no reason not to use that option. That is just my opinion, of course. I would use whatever means works the best.

I agree but they really shouldn't offer an authentication before purchase option if they cannot respond before the listing ends. I can understand why that's frustrating, especially if you lost out on a great deal.

Thank you. I did contact them and ask for a refund.

Most of the eBay listings are 7-day listings. I don't see how they can justify for this paid, pre-sale authentication service if the turn around time is 8+ days.

Also try caroldiva.she is supposed to be very good with LVs. All the best!

Caroldiva is the worst authenticator I've used. I rather use slower but reliable service than communication with someone who was SO F RUDE to me. Last year I use her service before I join this forum. But after got her reply I tell all my friends to stop using her. My friends who did used her were shock also when i show them Carol diva reply. I only ask her to explain because I didn't understand English well enough but she replied with very angry tone. Capital letters, lots of ????? & very very long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I want to reply back I discover she block me already. So I paid for something which I did not get clear authentification. Very bad service.

The only way I see that working is for a seller.. PreSALE
Prepaid service before a seller lists.. I can't see that working for a buyer, you could lose some great deals waiting for authentication..
If the service can't give the all good within a day or two, it's no good for preBUYING authentication.

The gals on the boards here are great! They're usually very quick & accurate.. If I have a question and need an authentication prior to buying, I post in the appropriate forum here..
Then, if they say it's good, I buy & pay for a service after.. That way I don't lose out on a good deal..
