Laetitya - perhaps you would care to resend your email and this could be dealt with

Of course Admin may decide to remove my post but I am NOT touting - I am merely trying to address your issue.

Look forward to your email.

I contacted you through the contact form on your website as well as by email and phone but received no reply. I then emailed realitycheckauthentications and they sent me documentation within 24 hours. I therefore no longer require your service but thank you for the offer.

Based on figures the positive experiences our clients have FAR outweigh, any negatives. Perhaps you should experience yourself - then you have a true impression and experience. Many people complain because the Fee is $7.50. They complain as they have to pay at all. Based on our client base and numbers of authentications per week we are clearly doing so,etching right. NO not everything but there are changes being rolled out over the next few weeks which will benefit everyone - both ourselves and our clients.

People complain when they don't get a response at 3 am UK time because YES we are based in the UK. I've had phone calls at 2 and 3 am. I've dealt with them.

I'm not going to further comment as I do not ever try and promote my business but this may well be seen as such. .

For anyone who has an issue our email address can be used. Contact form is being removed as clients have found it problematic to complete.

You can all bash on and have a great evening.

Best wishes

I feel that the above bolded part is a bit insulting. NOBODY has ever complained about the fee. You are providing service, thus it's out of the question that you are entitled to service fees. People complain that you don't perform said service on time--or at all. That is the issue. You turned people's legitimate complain into an insult to protect your reputation which is not cool at all.

Every time there is a backlog in service, there would surface excuses such as IT problem, email server problem, the owner went to the hospital etc. This time the owner's daughter is diagnosed with an illness. I am sorry to hear that but if payment was received, service is due REGARDLESS of your situation, UNLESS you had posted a note on your website that there will be a delay in processing authentication requests and it should specify when service will resume approximately. Say if you were to work a regular job, and your daughter went to the hospital, can you stay home for a month without reporting to your boss? I am sure your daughter is a lot more important than a job but I do not think it is justifiable to do so and same goes in this situation. You can't just disappear from the planet for a month or two without any notice on your website just because your daughter has to check in at the hospital regularly. If people pay for service, they deserve to receive it in a timely manner, especially time sensitive requests.

Nobody here is expecting result at 3 am UK time. Maybe they do after days of not hearing from you. But certainly not the very next day of receipt of payment. Most of the complaint here reflect days or weeks lack of result rendition.

I would just move on to another service provider such as fake spotters or realitycheckauthentications.com. Clearly authenticate4u has been repeatedly having problem and until they can sort it out, I wouldn't come back. Those who have received excellent and timely service from them, I am glad for you but not the case for some on here including myself.

Also just a friendly note, if you need to get a newer Chanel bag authenticated which Etinceler is not comfortable to do so, I would recommend LEATHER SURGEONS. They do repairs for Chanel and they make NO mistake. However you have to send the bags in for them to inspect first. Their fee is $55 but it's well worth it because you know for sure it is authentic. They make NO mistake.

I don't think she is saying that people on this thread are complaining about the fee - I'm sure she meant that she gets those complaints in general. I would not use anyone else but AFU as I do not trust any other service to be as thorough with my item. I have used their services many times and have always been more than happy with them.:smile1:

How the hail did you know that an authorized chanel repairer would make a mistake? Do you not know that they are the ones to reject fake bags upon receipt not chanel stores?
How the hail did you know if anybody actually complain about the fees? If lescoy was responding to the complaints made on the forum, that was what i was going by. Not one single person did ON.THE.FORUM. Every complaint i have seen is about them taking weeks to address a request. Show me one that expects it at 3 am? I am not speaking for anyone. I am gathering fact from previous posts. I do not know what said or requested offline. Im going by whats posted on here which is what lescoy responded to.
You didnt have to be so aggressive towards me. If authenticate4u has been repeatedly having problem in rendering service, is it not fair for me to chime in my opinion? Peace out!

Many referrals via TPF have probably come their way to authenticate4U.

Others were sharing their experiences & much of what was said is constructive
criticism that would & should help anyone in business. Customer service
& communication are just two of the components that make a business successful
& it appears these are the main issues for authenticate4U to improve upon.

They may have had some bumps in the road and some issues, but I would count on their accuracy above most any other companies. I would rather wait for A4U than pay money to another company that is notorious for either mistakes or unethical practices. I hope that A4U is able to become the truly reputable service it could be.

Well said - I totally agree with this statement:smile1:

You nailed it. A4U comes so heavily recommended as being the best at their craft; however, the business side of it doesn't really seem like a business at all. More like tea time when they find time. Would any other company be able to stay in business and retain its reputation if they operated in the same manner? Would you ever buy Prada, LV, etc ever again in a perpetually similar situation? It's great to be the best, but it alone does not make a business. The longstanding and frequent tech issues/outages, personal issues, and unavailability of service (Lescoy and her authenticators) must be taken out of the business for it to succeed. Eventually, people will find other sources.. even if it isn't the best.

Don't get me wrong... I know how debilitating an illness can be on a business. I'm pulling for Lescoy. I hope she can find a way to build her business and A4U's business reputation.

If, for some reason, I could not get the authentication done by A4U, I would pass on the item. I will not take a chance on a less knowledgeable service. There are a couple of exceptions and they would be for bags I could never afford! lol So, I will not find another source, except maybe here for an informal authentication.

ETA I understand that this is how I would do things. That does not mean others should not try to find another service who can provide an accurate authentication. I hope that is not how my post comes across.

Totally agree with this. Most customers view this as strictly a business transaction. They don't know, nor could they know, if there is an illness in the family, server issue, etc... They simply pay their money and expect a service. If they don't receive it in a timely manner, they complain. It's not fair to the customer for the business to assume they will understand there is some issue limiting service without it being clearly communicated to them on the website.
