Hi, does anyone know if http://andredupreedesignerhandbags.com can be trusted for their authenticity guarentee? I want to buy a bag from them but just wanted to make sure they can be trusted before I go through the trouble since I'm buying it online instead of in person at their store. Thank you!

Edit: sorry after reading through more of the forum I realized that because it's a consingment store there's no way to guarantee anything. But if you could still give me an opinion about it I'd appreciate it!

Hi, this website sell second hand items and it's always best to get a second opinion on authenticity. This is impossible because they only show one pic of the item, and they mixed pics and descriptions too (I have a LV Beverly GM and their pic shows another bag). I would stay away.

The website was set up four month ago (see lookup here).

Thank you! I actually already ended up buying it because I contacted them for more information and they included several pictures that didn't set off any red flags for me. But upon receiving the bag, I'll make sure to get it authenticated and post about how it turns out! And if it does end up being fake - I'll make sure to see how well their "refund" policy works out.

Oh dear, hoping it all goes well for you! What's the status of the dispute at the moment?

My case also felt like a nightmare, took about 3 weeks total; because I didn't purchase through their ebay site but their website directly, paypal wasn't as *fast* I'd say in settling the case (even though it was due to the bag's authenticity). But I'm still very lucky, I don't know what would have happened if I paid by credit card!!! :faint:

Dealing with their "customer service" was more of a nightmare!

Did you return for a refund?

I am so glad you got your money back! Well Paypal closed the dispute this morning however I only found out yesterday that ********* had been refusing the delivery of the returned bag, I was told this by the courier company so I am going to appeal the decision today and share with PayPal the email from my courier. Fingers crossed they will reopen the case. Absolutely disgusted by *********'s behaviour!

They were very adamant about having "Return to sender" labelled clearly on my return parcel, otherwise they wouldn't accept it as they'd have to pay fees (maybe customs/delivery fees?), not too sure! But if that was the case SURELY the courier could kindly do that for you... ugh! Good luck!!!

I just got off the phone from PayPal and they found in my favour and have refunded the money straight away!!! I am so so so relieved and unbelievably happy!!!

A close friend of mine in Greece, rented 2 Hermes bags from this scammer greek website that rents designer bags called : www.starbags.gr

A Kelly bag : http://www.starbags.gr/product/kelly-tampa-dermatini-3194.htm?lang=el&path=-1060198172

and a Birkin bag: http://www.starbags.gr/product/birkin-35-mauri-dermatini-3189.htm?lang=el&path=1892566244

She paid 570euro to rent for both bags but was suspicious. So she took detailed photos and sent them to an authentication service in France. First they told her the Kelly was FAKE and now she is waiting for an answer for the birkin too.
They are scammers! They blend some original designer bags and some vintage they sell, with FAKE HERMES BAGS that they rent for the big bucks. My friend was disgusted when she realized she paid over 500euro to rent FAKE Hermes, perhaps chinese bags.
We would really appreciate that with your experience you could help us on this case.
Please give us your opinion and also raise awareness for matters like that because my friend and probably a lot of other people lost and will lose hard earned money on fake bags. What a scam! :throwup::throwup::throwup:
